"We stayed 5 nights at Tenuta Olive Alive and loved it! We used Noto as a bounce off point to visit several towns in the area (Siracusa-Ortigia, Modica, Ragusa Ibla etc). A short drive into Noto itself. Fantastic accom, took advantage of the rain outdoor spaces for some meals, made good use of the pool. Our host, Italo was very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. He cooked for us one night - which was sensational. We are a family of four, incl two younger children. They loved the loft style bedroom they had. The shutters allowed for us to get a couple of nice sleep ins too. Highly recommend this accom for anyone visiting the area. "

"A lovely oasis with the best service. The rooms are stylish without being precious. The quality of everything-- from the almonds and olives grown on site to the choice of linens and wines--is top notch. The property has a graceful beauty and is super close to beaches and lovely small towns. The restaurant offers delicious food-- we were lucky to see the chef do his magic because there is an open kitchen. The front desk/concierge staff were above and beyond in their generosity and care--from making restaurant and parking reservations in the center of Noto and other towns to making sure we had everything we needed. We will be back!!"

"A pleasant surprise - much better than we were expecting. Very comfortable rooms, good food - dinner and breakfast - great pool and excellent friendly service. It briefly rained when we were there and the overwhelming aroma of olive and almond trees was a delight, which reminds that this is rural retreat, which is just what we needed on a road tour of Sicily, with views of Noto one way and the sea the other. You definitely need a car."

"It was a great vacation, but unfortunately I couldn't do everything. The best part was the sea right in front of me! The room wasn't the best, but it was very comfortable. The food was delicious. It was really nice that we already had chairs and umbrellas for the beach. Pera is approved! ⭐⭐⭐"

"The presentation on the site and on Booking is not absolutely the reality: These are rooms, derived from housing, in which a micro-bathroom has been built The hotel checks in is made at a hotel, then you have to move “other places”. We travel by bike, so we are ready to adapt, but not to take cantons. It is not B&B, since breakfast is not included but only B (not expressly declared) That is really uncomfortable."

"Delightful hotel in a rural setting, within an easy drive of Ragusa, Noto and Siracusa, so a good place to base oneself in SE Sicily and/or just chill out. A good restaurant serving a wide range of local dishes in a pretty refined manner. Excellent buffet breakfast catering for most tastes. Staff in the restaurant were superb. Rooms were perfectly good but unremarkable. "

The front office team is exceptionally helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay. Just a 5-minute drive from Lido and the beach, it's perfectly situated for enjoying the local scenery. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic-homemade bread, cheese, cakes.Because of the breakfast and positive energy we extended our stay one more night.The service during breakfast can improve and the restaurant team should engage more with the guests.Christina from the bar was very welcoming and interacted with us, presenting the menu in a very professional way. Strongly recommend the hotel ."

San Carlo Suites

"We spent a leisurely 14 nights at the San Carlo Suites in October The balcony of our spacious suite overlooked the principal Corso Vittorio Emanuale. In the morning we opened the shutters and listened to the happy muted sounds of the Cafe Sicilia below. The suite was very quiet. The Suites are ideally situated to what Noto has to offer the tourist. Everything is within walking distance, cathedrals, churches, basilica, art galleries, palaces, and market. We planned to spend a bit of time in baroque Noto before moving on to explore Catania for a few days before travelling home, and had plenty of time to explore Noto and its environs. There are plenty of eateries offering a wide selection of Italian foods, and plenty of good local wines on offer. We like the Italian culture and history, and language. If you want to practice your language proficiency there’s nobody better to speak to than Laura who is there day to day. From our initial booking of the accommodation she was extremely helpful when calling from home, and full of information while we were there. Breakfasts were varied and delicious, with homemade cakes, quiches made by Marta."
