"Unfortunately my husband was transferred unexpectedly to Westchester Medical Center. We (my grown son and I) didn't have a lot of money but it was important to us to be close by. We were able to book the Fairbridge Inn in Nyack on a more or less night by night basis for a reasonable rate. The place was very clean, the staff was very kind and there was a great diner right next door. I would stay there again were the need to arise."

The only thing to note is that it is recommended to check the bill before checking out to prevent unknown charges from being included."

"It was the first time in my life that I stayed two nights at a hotel where they didn’t clean the room at all. I’ve never seen a hotel with a brand name that was managed so poorly. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you’re planning to stay for multiple nights."
