"We stayed at this motel during our drive along the Great Ocean Road in peak season (just after New Year). Booking late meant options were limited, and while the price was on the higher side, it’s to be expected for this time of year. The room, though a bit dated, was exceptionally clean—one of the cleanest we’ve come across. The motel is situated in a very quiet and peaceful location, perfect for a restful night. However, you’ll need a car to get into Torquay. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again if we’re in the area."

There were many guests arriving in camping trailers, and the coin laundry facilities were excellent. The kitchen had a microwave, kettle, toaster, and even a proper oven. The kitchen for tent campers was also well-equipped, even including barbecue facilities. The fact that there was salt and pepper in the kitchen is also noteworthy."

"We have just arrived home after spending 2 days at the retreat and feel very relaxed. Our wonderful host Rob and Ian were a delight and even Mickey the 4 legged pooch was beautiful. Everything about this place was perfect , the rooms, the views the spa, and sauna were amazing. One of our favourite things was breakfast where Rob and Ian joined us and shared many stories of their travel etc. I could not recommend this accomodation enough for a relaxing homely experience. Thank again Rob and Ian . Dianne and John"
