📍 Ehime, Tanokuchi, 36−4, Ozu
★★ 8.5 (28 reviews)

"I didn't take any photos, but it isn't far from the station on foot. I chose this place because I wanted to stay one night in Oz and relax; there are delicious izakayas, dessert shops, and a large convenience store within walking distance. I liked the space where you can sit on the floor, watch TV, and eat snacks, and the staff were incredibly friendly. I arrived a bit early and took the liberty to ask, but I was grateful that they allowed me to check in, saying the room was ready. I also enjoyed the small talk we shared. It was a warm, friendly, and comfortable hotel in a pretty neighborhood that I would love to visit again."

"I loved Tomiya Kinbe-Tei so much! I was there for Aoshima, and decided to stay 2 nights at Tomiya Kinbe-Tei. The obaachan and ojiichan are super warm and friendly! The room is huge, and the bathroom has all the amenities you need. Obaachan’s breakfasts are also the best!!! I would definitely love to return to visit obaachan and ojiichan again. Thank you so much for taking such good care of me when I was there!"

Oyabu Hotspring

📍 1433 Hijikawacho, Ozu
★★ 8.5 (1 reviews)

"The hotel is super suitable for those who who aim for running away from modernization. And enjoy a peaceful moment of your own. Do remember you have to make reservations so that the staff will prepare dinner for you otherwise you need to drive a few miles to search for food elsewhere. The facilities are a bit aged but at least it doesn’t bother us from enjoying the stay."

Super Hotel Ehime Ozu Inter ★★★
"I applied for a double room and a single room for two, but when I actually saw it, I was surprised to see that there was a double bed and a bunk bed. The room was very small, but the facilities were clean, and the breakfast was delicious despite the limited variety. I had high expectations because of the good reviews about the breakfast, so I was a little disappointed."

"Stayed at the sala room and loved the room! Great view of the castle. Stairs abit narrow so just be careful up and down. The restaurant food was excellent! Loved all the dinners in particular. Food fantastic and so was service!"

"Generally, smoking rooms in Japanese hotels don't have any unpleasant odors, but this one had a slight smell, though I didn't mind too much. If you have a specific requirement, you can book a non-smoking room. The location is excellent, and the price is very reasonable; highly recommended."

"We recently had the pleasure of staying at this exceptional ryokan, and we cannot express enough gratitude for the wonderful experience. Every morning, we were treated to meticulously prepared, delicious breakfasts that set the tone for incredibly relaxing days. The Okami-san's (female inn manager) warm hospitality ensured our trip was comfortable and memorable. We were particularly impressed by the introduction to Nagahama's charming local cuisine, which allowed us to truly appreciate the culinary delights of Ehime prefecture. The attentive service and authentic Japanese experience made our stay unforgettable. We would love to return if given the chance and highly recommend this ryokan to anyone seeking a genuine taste of Japanese hospitality. Thank you for an amazing stay! Date of stay: August 2024 This review captures the essence of the original letter, highlighting the key points that would be relevant and appealing to potential guests, such as the quality of food, the hospitality, and the local cultural experience. I've omitted personal details and formal letter elements to make it more suitable for a public review. Would you like me to modify anything in this review?"
