"Book this guest house through a voucher we received for our Christmas present it was a nightmare trying to book in but not jo & martins fault, just the voucher we got there in the end & what a lovely welcome we got from the minute we walked through the door bedroom was nice clean, comfortable bed everything was there that you needed and more ( nice touhes) breakfast was continental tea / coffee cearels toast n fruit n yogurts jo was a lovely host thanks for a nice stay"

"Clare and Jess were here friendly and accommodating. Great hosts. The B&B was clean throughout. There’s a great choice for breakfast that covers a range of either a light breakfast to a full English. The room we had, was en-suite. A nicely run place. Parking is a little tricky - not Clare and Ged fault. There is little on street parking and what there is, is taken mostly by local residents. The B&B is close enough to walk into town, only 5-10 mins away and the sea front is only 2mins away."

"A lovely B and B. The room was very clean and tidy and had everything we required with a very comfortable bed. A good choice for breakfast, the cooked breakfast was cooked to perfection and even better as it was gluten free. A level short walk to Goodrington beach, and an easy walk to Paignton."

"We booked a suite which was nice and spacious, the view from the balcony was incredible. The place is nicely decorated and the room was modern with a great shower. Peter was a friendly host and very knowledgable about the area. A short walk from the pier. "

"My wife and I stayed at this brilliant hotel from June 3 for four nights. The hotel is brilliantly situated for Goodrington sands, Paignton centre, Torbay, the rail and bus stations and Torquay was only 20 minutes away by bus. The hotel room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. We were allocated the 'Coast' room where we could see the coast, Brixham in the distance and any yachts/boats that were on the water. The breakfasts were excellent and tasty, and even when you picked what you wanted, you could add something else as well and it was no trouble at all. The hosts (Paul, Debbie, Mark and Vivian) were truly wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble and they were always willing to help if required. I liked the fact that there was one parking space for every room, so no struggle trying to find a parking space. We left our car in the car park on our first night and didn't use it again until we went home such is the location of the hotel to the other amenities. It was a short break but staying at this hotel was well worth it thanks to our wonderful hosts. If you are planning to stay anywhere close to the above places, then I thoroughly recommend this hotel. It's dog friendly too!"

"I would like to say the location is ideal close to the seafront and local amenities. I can say the service and atmosphere at this establishment is of the highest quality. The family run guesthouse owned by James and Christine Rochester is one of the best I have stayed in and is a credit to local area and the local economy. The rooms here are of the highest level of comfort and are well maintained throughout your stay. I would say this establishment is well worth the value for money in the local area and for the service you receive you should be paying more. I stayed on B&B basis and I can say the breakfast are of the highest quality. There is plenty of choice from fruit juices, cereals, yougarts, crumpets, pancakes, fruit, toast with a choice of jams and marmalade and not to be missed cooked breakfast. Also as much tea and coffee as you like. Also there is a honesty bar for you to use during your stay This was my second visit and I will definitely return. This guesthouse get so many excellent reviews if you want to stay here you will need to book early as rooms book up quickly and I would say I would be disappointed if. I couldn't get a room."
