"Avoid at all costs this hotel is definitely not a 5 star hotel just returned from a holiday here Where do I start, I booked a room with private pool (thank god I did) as I have mobility problems and these are the only rooms that you can walk straight into otherwise you would have to go up flights of stairs with no lift which I would never have been able to do the pool was freezing so could not use which was a waste of money The buffet was a 1 star as was extremely small and definitely not a lot of choice food was cold a few times my partner had to bring it to staff for them to throw out it was like it was taken out of the fridge and just put out I can’t eat fish so when I went one night it was fish night (even fish in the salads) so ended up eating two tiny bread rolls, when I suggested to the hotel manager about more choice for people that could not eat fish I was treated so badly for saying this and asked did I read the labels for the dishes which I said I have to do that and when no label was with the dishes which happened I had to ask a member of staff and this night even when a member of staff said they would as the chef to do something I suggested even pesto pasta they came back with a flat out no Then the bar staff (excluding tallia) was every slow to bring your drinks so you had to order well in advance to get a drink for when you finish your drink you had And even doing this you where given a dirty look for doing this Than to top this holiday off we had 800 pounds taken from our room first the manager blamed us, we reported it to the police, the manager went to the police station to collect my partner while I stayed at the hotel on the way back suggested to my partner that I took the money (which left my partner fuming) did this manager think he would not come back and inform me what he said to him We asked for a paper with evidence that we reported it to hotel and police from the manager to a reply from him as..no I can’t give you anything This is the worse employee let alone a manager that iv ever come into contact with If you have any issues stay away from him you will be look down on and you will be blamed for anything and everything I have never done a review but seriously thought I had to do it to let others know before they go to this hotel The only positive I have for this hotel is the views that you get for taking photos"

"we visited this hotel as a family of 3 for 4 days. We had high expectations since in the photos the room we booked seemed renovated and modern. However what we were met with was far below expectations. Not only did we realise the photos we had seen were ai-generated but also the room was terribly managed. There was mold in the bathroom and the room smelled from the sewers below. Although it was surely renovated, it looked extremely outdated in some aspects. As for the food, there was a great variety of foods available at the restaurant. We booked breakfast and dinner and we weren’t disappointed. The food was just fine. last thing I would like to mention is the pool, which was very family-friendly and quite big. The overall experience did not meet expectations."

"This is our third consecutive year at Ajul Zeus, and this time, I can see there is significant room for improvement.The rooms in particular need attention: there was a moldy smell in the bathroom (which has no window), damaged walls, faulty light switches, and a broken iron.The food was pretty much the same every day, and the service leaves a lot to be desired this year. The water park was poorly maintained, featuring dirty water, insects, and leaves.On the beach, however, it was exceptionally quiet. We found brand-new sunbeds, clean towels, and excellent service at the beach bar. It was quite clean, and we would like to give a special thanks to Jackson."

"Serenity... that's it! What a nice place. Quietly located on a hill, with a view you don't get enough. All is clean, clean, careful and carefully done. The rooms are light and freshly furnished, really a fine boho vibe. A nice bathroom with a good shower. The terrace with a seat was also top, even a clean dryer was thought. Most of the combination of the quiet location, the view and the fine atmosphere made this really a top stay for us. The only thing we personally missed was a small kitchenette to wash or warm up for example. There was actually everything in place. The washing is done for you, every day (if necessary) clean towels. You can also use the beach lakes at the pool, change them whenever you want. Paliouri also surprised us as a base for outbreak. You are close to beautiful beaches, about 5 minutes drive, but just a little quieter than the mega busy places. It is a small village with some shops, restaurants and bakers."

"Currently staying here and it is fantastic. We are totally NOT the typical guests ( 70+ Brits here) but Blue Carpet is amazing due to: Caring, cheerful, friendly and super-efficient staff. Everyone from reception ( lovely Lia and Diana) household, gardening, waiters, bar staff and beach attendants has been outstanding. Not heard any other Brits but lots of beautiful Serbs, Bulgarians, NMKs who really know how to do the beach! Room is lovely ( if a tad small and short on clothes storage) The star of the show is the beach/sea which couldn’t be better! I’ve got horrendous sun burn and I’m confined to my balcony but sill happy to give this place top marks!"

"We spent 13 days at Villa d'Oro and we just loved it , the area is really beautiful and quiet, everything is perfect inside and out. The suite is tastefully decorated, you have everything you need. View is breathtaking. Breakfast is perfect and very wide range. All the staff are super nice, especially Nina so sweet, it was a real pleasure when she brought breakfast every morning. "The room: Clean, minimalist, and everything you need. We had sun all day by the pool (June 25th). Very clean, not worn down. Room with balcony, but no sun. Room cleaning: The room cleaning was adequate. Towels were changed, bed linen every two days. A really friendly team. What we noticed was that the towels and bed linen smelled of stale cigarette smoke. They were clean and spotless, but they smelled strange. Coffee and milk are not replenished; you have to get them yourself from reception. Other: The pool and terrace could be inviting, except when there are guests nearby playing loud music, partying in their rooms and on their balconies, or talking loudly on their phones. No consideration is shown to others. We had hoped for more from the official marketing of "Luxury Suites.""

"during our recent trip, my family and I decided to book this hotel and found the experience to be unpleasant. firstly, the room was below expectations. we were given a very small room for 3 adults. the furniture looked like it hadn’t been updated in years, although the bathroom looked clean, it felt poorly maintained. the rest of the room didn’t help either, everyting looked old, cheap and thrown together without care. the internet connection was poor, almost nonexistent. we asked for a room change, although they didn’t seem too pleased about it, they did go ahead and give us another one. the room we received was slightly better, it looked like it was renovated recently. the third bed provided was a basic folding rollaway frame with wooden slats and a thin mattress, offering very little comfort. It felt more like a camp bed than something suitable for adult guests in a hotel, also there was a strong and unpleasant smell of sewage coming from the bathroom. the food was tasty but the workers served it onto your plate without letting you choose how much food you wanted. additionally the selection was quite limited, so there wasn’t much variety to pick from. it felt a bit restrictive, even though the dishes themselves were good. there was also an old lady who tried snatching my moms plate full of food from the table and then yelled at us saying that we stayed too long in the hostelry and that this so called hostelry isn’t a “restaurant”. the cleanliness was well maintained, towels were changed daily and the cleaning lady was friendly and did a great job."

"I’m truly unsure where to start. We are a family of 3 (husband, wife and daughter) and we have just returned home from what I can only describe as the most special 2 week family holiday staying at Flegra Palace. The staff feel like family. Andy, the groundskeeper and my 3 year olds new best friend! He always has a huge, warm smile despite working incredibly hard. He made my daughter, Nuala’s, holiday extra special. I know she will talk about him in years to come. Mary, the hotel manager - she is absolutely wonderful. She will go above and beyond to ensure all the guests are happy and enjoying their holiday. She was so attentive, particularly with my little girl. Sonia who works in the spa, she is so loving, she really made a fuss over Nuala and made her feel so special. I can’t even properly describe how wonderful the staff made our holiday. We will really miss them now that we are home!! Flegra palace has the most beautiful pool surrounded but comfortable sun beds. There is a bar where you can order drinks and food from all day. There is a little park behind the bar which was really exciting for my little girl! The toilets are spotlessly clean and well maintained. We had bed and breakfast. There was a huge variety at breakfast. From Greek yoghurt with different fruits, nuts and seeds to a cooked breakfast with bacon, eggs, beans etc. I often opted for a lovely baguette with Gouda cheese, cucumbers and the most delicious tomatoes! You can sit inside or outside for breakfast. The chef is also really lovely and friendly. We stayed in room 501 and we hit the jackpot. Our room was on the ground floor right opposite the pool. We couldn’t have asked for anything more convenient! The shower is hot and very powerful, perfect after a day at the beach. The bed was comfortable and our room was cleaned daily. The gym isn’t amazing, it could do with some improvements. A lot of things don’t work including the air con but it is free for guests and it has the basics. Flegra palace is a fantastic location. It is a short walk to the beach, perhaps 8 minutes to our favourite spot which was Fiki! It is also a short walk into the town where you will find everything you need. Restaurants, shops, supermarkets, coffee island (my holiday obsession) and there is also a laundrette which is SO handy! We were emotional to come home, we had the best time and would highly recommend Flegra Palaca. We will certainly be returning!"
