Forewarning we only ate at the restaurant so this review will not detail anything about the accommodation side of things. Whilst visiting the wonderful hilltop village of Peillon we fancied a little light refreshment and a snack. Long story short we ended up having a gastronomical meal to remember and the most entertaining lunchtime, the likes of which I've rarely had before. Upon entering Auberge de la Madone we were greeted by the owner Matthew who proceeded to tell us about the different dining options available whilst they set up tables for our party of seven. Matthew was wonderfully entertaining and proceeded to tell us about the history of the place and how it came to be. The food was sublime with French prepared lamb on a bed of the most wonderful vegetables all prepared by Thomas (Matthews brother) who is a genius in the kitchen. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and would easily recommend you go out of your way to visit. It was so amazing that I'm looking to come back in February to spend Valentines day in style in the hotel and enjoy more wonderful food and hospitality.

Eramos em tres pessoas, minha esposa , minha filha adolescente e eu, conhecia la Turbie por ter morado na regiao (Eze) por cinco anos, em 2006. pegamos um quarto com janela para a rua … vista muito bonita e hotel muito pratico. Cafe da manha muito bom .. preço muito compativel com a area e com a epoca do ano. Apesar de nao possuir estacionamento proprio, usamos o estacionamento publico em frente , incluive com area para recarga eletrica de veiculos. Matei muitas saudades que tinha da região. MCBR is an exquisite hotel in an almost perfect location. 98% of the experience was A+ and what was not can easily be addressed. Location: It is actually in Roquebrun Cap Martin, France, not Monaco. To reach the center of Monaco, you can easily: (1) walk to the center of Monaco (e.g. the ******) right down Ave Princess Grace in about 20 minutes; (2) take the public bus which stops / picks up about a 7 minute walk away in front of the MC Bay Resort hotel nearby; or (3) take the free hotel shuttle, which runs from 9 am to 6:20 pm, to the Hotel Hermitage right at the Grand ******. One reason we chose this hotelw was the easy access to the coastal walking path, which was closed when we were there which was terribly disappointing. However, you can easily walk from the MCBH to anywhere in Monaco. One highlight is the evening view from the room's terrace of the lights of Monaco - the Grand ******, the palace, and all of the glittering high rises and mega yachts - across the water. On a moonlit night, sitting on your terrace wtih this view is magnifique! Hotel + Wonderful, beautiful, great views + Has large pool and beach, which has a separate entrance for the public from the parking lot. Not free. Cabana rentals are very pricey ( E50 - 100 / day) but are large and come with white tablecloth covered tables and cabana service. -- very small gym. + access to the huge Monaco Thermal Spa complex at the sister Hermitage Hotel by the Grand ******, which has a small but ok gym with an incredible view of the marina and palace. It can be awkward to find, though - enter the Hermitage (a gracious 5 star), go straight back and to the left and down a hallway; then take the little elevator on the right down to the Thermal Matin Spa. We felt incredibly awkward dressed in gym attire among all of the chic people in the hotel. =/- if you don't have a car, you need to take the bus or a taxi to / from town in the evening as the shuttle stops at 6:20 pm. It also does not wait at the little stop in front of the hotel driveway. Restaurants Elsa - very expensive. Breakfast was 42 euros and not that great, although the beignets were good. Nice views. La Vigie bar at the point over the water is pretty and busy; tropical theme with bamboo hut look and couches as well as chairs. Great views of the sea and the yachts and the city. Very expensive and (the night we were there) very bad wine at 18 euros a glass (chardonnay, cote de provence, and pouilly fume Hotel Room This is a truly beautiful hotel. The room decor, in pale dove gray and cream, is very calming. Our suite had a living room area and a separate bedroom, with two bathrooms. Air conditioning worked very well which was key. Living area -- + large terrace with great views - this is the highlight of this room. + built in table, bench, and one chair --- refrigerator was a fullly packed automated ”mini bar” so we were not able to use it to store our own water and other things; th

This was my second stay at the Aparthotel Adagio Monaco Palais Josephine and once again I enjoyed it - I was in a smaller room this time as it was a short stay, but on a higher floor and a great view of Monaco. Rooms are clean, Wifi is great and the location is perfect. My only two notes: if you can't find the light switch for the light above the couch try looking behind the pillows! Secondly, if you happen to be there on the first Wednesday of the month and on the ocean side of the hotel, don't freak out when the National Alert siren goes off at noon. It is not the end of the world.. just a drill...

I wanted to book an economical homestay in Monaco, and came across this. Stayed for 3 nights, and it was fine, but could be a lot better. Location - This place is very close to the Monte Carlo train main station. After exiting the station, take a left, and walk for 3 minutes. Then there is an Elevator to go up the road, and then exit that elevator, and take another elevator right opposite, to go up another level. Finally, walk for a minute, and you are there. So, in 5-6 minutes, you can reach the hotel. Thanks to the free public elevators, you don't have to climb up the many stairs. And to go anywhere in downtown, just use the same elevators to come back down to the ground level, and walk. Keep in mind that the hotel has 2 buildings, book with your membership, and mostly you will get it on the same main building. The Room - We booked an Apartment for 5 people, comfort option, which is their biggest room after the 2 bedroom apartment. On entering the room, I was a surprised, the separate bedroom is particularly small as to what is seen in pictures, but the living area is fine. If you are a group of 3 or 4, then it's fine. The two sofas on the living area can be converted to good beds. But the terrace is very very good. We got the corner room, Room 407, so it was great. The room has a fridge, oven, gas stove, all utensils, etc. It's fine that way. The washroom is also good. Housekeeping - There is no Housekeeping for short stays. No free refills of free water or tea/coffee or anything at all. You have to collect towels from the reception. They do have a cheap laundry and dryer facility within the building. They have parking for 15 Euro per night, inform them beforehand. Parking can be accessed directly from the main elevator in the hotel. Breakfast - it's very simple, limited food choice, and snacks. Could be better if they added some more hot items to cater to all types of guests. Overall, I think the place if fine for small families, or friends. As Monaco is very expensive, this place, which is right in the city center to say, is very good and economical. There are also many restaurants and supermarts, if you just take the elevators to go down, and walk around 5 mins to cross the Novotel Moncao area.
