"Our stay in Porto Kaza was simply wonderful! The hotel is beautifully maintained, extremely clean and thoughtfully designed. The location is fantastic- within walking distance to the center of Sitia and the harbor, yet still peaceful and quiet. The apartment is spacious and well-equipped, just perfect for a comfortable stay. The view from the balcony is also a lovely bonus, offering a stunning view for our morning coffee and breakfast. The hosts are incredibly welcoming, helpful and attentive. Overall, Porto Kaza is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Sitia. We cannot recommend it enough!"

"Just came back from a truly amazing week long stay at Rocrita. I can fully say do not hesitate to book, everything was a 10/10 experience. Every single part of this hotel was thought out down to the quality of the food, service, experiences and athstetic of the hotel. Every single staff member at Rocrita goes above and beyond for you and tends to your needs with ease and always polite and friendly. The staff here truly make the experience of staying here one in a million. The hotel in itself is absolutely stunning and even though its beauty can be seen in pictures, in real life it’s something that it’s seen in all its beauty in real life. The sunsets at night are insane, the mountain views that surround the hotel are something I’ve never seen before. The restaurants and quality of the food an Rocrita are absolutely nothing like your typical all inclusive food, in fact they are something you would experience at an expensive high end restaurant. The hotel rooms are incredible, the cleaners are in every day making sure the room is not only just clean and tidy, but the little things always filling up the fridge and leaving notes with cookies at night. The resort has everything you need & more down to a high end spa, Pilates, panel, water sports, jet ski and more! Overall this hotel is a one in a million and if your thinking about booking this hotel, you absolutely should."

Castri Village Hotel ★★★
"Rooms: Spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The décor is simple but elegant. Most rooms offer beautiful sea views—waking up here is a highlight. Value: Excellent for what you get. The combination of location, comfort, and service makes it feel like a great deal, especially compared to more crowded tourist areas. Cleanliness: Impeccable. Rooms and common areas are kept spotless. Noise level: Very quiet, especially at night. Ideal if you want to relax, read, or just enjoy the sound of the sea. Service: Warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. The staff go out of their way to make you feel at home and are always happy to offer tips about the area. Amenities: Everything you need for a comfortable stay—reliable Wi-Fi, good air conditioning, and lovely pool area. Some great local dining options are also just a short walk away. Overall: A hidden gem in eastern Crete. Perfect for travelers who want authenticity, tranquility, and a beautiful seaside setting."

"Disappointing, just got back from this hotel. Checked in and then the stairs, two flights down and then three flights up to our room (no lifts). The room was pristine but unusual in the fact that the hand basin was in the bedroom itself, with the wc and shower in a separate bathroom. It was well decorated and very clean. Stepped out onto the balcony and was met with the narrowest one yet and facing a tree. I had emailed before hand to see if we could have a pool view but unfortunately there must have been none left. Kettle in room with 2 mugs but no coffee or tea was provided. The room was cleaned and towels changed every 2 days. The food was very limited in choice, abundant salads and cold meats, cheese etc but limited choice of hot. At breakfast alternated between cocktail style sausages and almost spam like bacon. Every type of egg was available, boiled, fried, scrambled and roulade with continental style meats, cheese and salad. No toaster, but fresh rolls and baguettes. Disappointed that there was never a soup option. Desserts were limited to one type together with fresh fruit. We were all inclusive but when it came to the drinks then came the big disappointment, the only spirit was ouzo or raki, local beer and wines. It is all very carefully worded using the word 'local'. All inclusive cocktails were ouzo and raki based. We ended up having to pay for spirits which had to be paid for at the time and could not be charged to the room. All in all the staff were friendly, helpful and worked really hard. Just to be aware that there is no lounge so if it rains there is very little area that you will be under cover. This hotel is definitely not suitable for anyone with limited mobility."

Porto Kaza ★★★★
"We had an absolutely beautiful apartment with a spectacular view over Sitia harbour, beach and town. We spent every evening out there looking at that view with a glass of wine and a simple meal. The apartment was well equipped and beautifully furnished. I couldn’t think of anything else that we needed for the few days we spent there. I would recommend spending time on the city beach - very clean and good for swimming. There were many small bars and tavernas located by the beach."
