What a Lovely Stay! This is actually the first hotel I’ve ever reviewed on Trip.com, and I really wanted to share my experience because this place truly impressed me. The hotel is spacious, clean, well-organized, and very comfortable. Everything feels thoughtfully managed, and the staff are all incredibly polite, friendly, and welcoming. They were always happy to help and provided complete and useful information whenever I had questions. The room itself had everything I needed, so I honestly didn’t feel the need to go outside at all. You could easily spend the whole day at the hotel and still have plenty to do. There are working spaces, baking facilities, a swimming pool, ping-pong tables, mountain and island activities, and many other things to enjoy within the property. I especially loved the green spaces around the hotel. The atmosphere is peaceful, refreshing, and really relaxing. There are also bicycles available for free, which made exploring the area even more enjoyable and convenient. The location is another big plus. It’s close to 7-Eleven and various local shops, so getting snacks, drinks, or anything you might need is very easy. Overall, I had a wonderful experience here. The combination of a beautiful and spacious property, friendly staff, great facilities, peaceful surroundings, and a convenient location made my stay really comfortable. Highly recommended, and I’m happy that my first Trip.com hotel review is for this place! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Overall we had a great stay at Dara hotel. The staff are friendly and the reception staff, in particular, dealt quickly and professionally with issues regarding faulty safes and the room not being cleaned on one occasion. The pool is about 20m and is cleaned regularly. We chilled here most mornings. The gym is adequate and I appreciated the hotel maintenance cleaning and removing equipment that was broken. I used the treadmill and weights daily. The hotel should have rules for using the gym though, as parents allowed their children to play on the equipment a few times when I was in there which is quite dangerous. The rooms were spacious and the room cleaning ladies enjoyed making our towels into different animals! They were super friendly too. We enjoyed the breakfast which was 350 baht each per day. The hotel had an extensive spread catering for western and Asian customers. I would stay here again as it’s close to 2 huge malls and about 30-40mins from Patong, Kata and Karon beaches, which we liked, but found the location of Dara hotel was an easier pace, less noisy and more suited to us.

The hotel is a bit old, but you can tell it's well-maintained. The room was great, spacious enough, with comfortable bedding, and the service was good too. I was very satisfied with my one-night stay and would definitely book again if I have the chance.

Had to extend my stay due to a sudden change in travel plans, so I booked a one-night accommodation. This is hands down my favorite hotel in Phuket Town! It might be off-season, as the bar next door wasn't noisy at night. The room was huge, with two air conditioners and a ceiling fan. The hotel grounds are lush, like a mini botanical garden. Absolutely loved it!

Pros: The room was clean, though there was a slight musty smell in the hallway. I booked a small room as I was just passing through for some business in the area. The location is excellent; it's close to many popular shops, making it very easy to find food. The parking lot is spacious. Cons: The room seems to be in an old, renovated building. There's no elevator, but it's an easy walk. However, when people walk past the room and talk, you can hear every word. The room offers absolutely no soundproofing; you can hear everything – conversations, footsteps, doors opening and closing. As they say, for the price, expecting too much would be strange.

The front desk staff member named Mark was very enthusiastic and polite, making us feel right at home. The hotel's swimming pool was also very comfortable with excellent facilities, and the location is superb. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Phuket.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights, and overall I had a wonderful experience. From the moment I checked in, the staff made a great first impression by allowing me to check in early because my room was already available. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Although it overlooked the nearby village rather than the main view, I didn’t mind at all since I rarely opened the curtains anyway. Unfortunately, one experience at the pool bar on our last night nearly ruined an otherwise enjoyable stay. We had bought KFC for dinner and simply wanted some ice. A hotel staff member suggested that we ask the pool bar for it. When we arrived, I noticed there was an air-conditioned restaurant area, so I politely asked for a cup of ice and whether we could enjoy our takeaway there. The lady working at the bar told me that it would be fine as long as we ordered at least one drink. That seemed perfectly reasonable, so I ordered a Mai Tai. However, I immediately noticed that she seemed annoyed. My boyfriend also commented that she came across as quite rude. While we were waiting for my drink, the lady spoke to her colleague loudly enough for me to hear. She asked, “Where are these people going to sit? If they’re sitting in the A/C room, I’m afraid it’s going to smell bad.” Her colleague looked visibly uncomfortable, as though he didn’t know how to respond. At that point, the atmosphere had become so awkward that my boyfriend suggested we simply return to our room to eat instead. What disappointed me most was not the policy itself. If takeaway food wasn’t allowed in the restaurant, that would have been completely understandable. What wasn’t acceptable was being told we could stay if we purchased a drink, only to be made to feel unwelcome after I had already ordered one. It felt misleading and unnecessarily embarrassing. I also don’t understand the concern about food smells, considering the air-conditioned area is a restaurant where people eat throughout the day. I would also like to mention that the gentleman serving us was polite, friendly, and professional. He seemed uncomfortable throughout the interaction and appeared to be seeking approval from the lady before responding to my questions. If she is the pool bar manager, I believe her attitude, communication, and customer service fall well below the standard expected in a hospitality role. In the end, we spent 280 THB on a Mai Tai, received a cup of ice, and left with an unpleasant experience that overshadowed an otherwise excellent stay. Despite this incident, I would still recommend the hotel because the rest of the staff and facilities were excellent. However, I would advise future guests to avoid the pool bar until the customer service there improves.

The hotel is conveniently located at the heart of Phuket Old Town. It’s extremely to get to the Night Market as well as the major scenic spots. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores around the hotel. It’s easy to get whatever you need.  One downside of the place is that there are many ants in the toilet of my room. It’s rather disgusting to see them running around the place. Also, due to the limited number of customers at the time of my stay, the set breakfast instead of the buffet breakfast was provided. Even for the buffet breakfast which I tried during a few days of my stay, it’s very simple.

My little one absolutely loved this hotel! After two nights, we checked out and went to another hotel, but they kept asking to go back here, saying it was so beautiful. We checked in at midnight, and the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming. The welcome drink was Thai iced tea – it was absolutely delicious! The server even warned us not to drink too much, or we wouldn't be able to sleep, haha. I even bought a can for only 295 baht, which was very cheap, to take home and enjoy. We swam in the hotel pool both days, and it was perfect for the baby to play in while we relaxed by the side. The room was clean and tidy, with a simple yet elegant overall style. I especially loved the scent of the aromatherapy when we first entered; it was so comforting.
