Hotel Torre Dei Borboni ★★★

"The hotel is very suggestive, as it is in a borbonica tower that dominates the port of Ponza. The problem is that from 20 years the terrace cannot be used and the bar closes ... badly. With friends we searched a table for a night-card game under the stars but it was impossible. Velluto cordon to make the terrace off limits. Attention: the pool is not buried, I imagine for landscape bounds, but it should be specified. The staff is nice and available. The breakfast is plenty and varies more than the usual breakfast offered in the 3 stars. Clean rooms. We had a familiar sea view on two levels: the window almost a picture. The room is comfortable if you have no problem with the stairs. The rooms placed in the bourbon tower require so many stairs to reach them. I found the position in the country strategic, but there are a few tough climbs to do to go from the port to the hotel."

"This hotel has the perfect location in Ponza! You have the ”piscine naturali” in a short walking distance, and also several rocks where you can rent sun chairs and umbrellas in also a short walking distance. You also have a lot of good restaurant within walking distance and the bus stops almost outside the hotel, and will take you to the port in just 10/15 minutes. The view from the hotel is amazing, rooms are clean and the staff are so nice and helpful! Also there’s a restaurant in the hotel which is really good. Would definitely recommend this hotel!"

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! Ponza is my wife’s family island, and when we shared the history with Marco, he was truly amazing. He carefully took down all the details, made calls to uncover information about my wife’s family, and went above and beyond to make our stay special. Marco was always available, incredibly kind, and genuinely invested in helping us. The room was spotless, and the views were breathtaking. Thanks to Marco’s exceptional hospitality, we felt completely cared for. We can’t recommend this hotel highly enough!"

"The villa is very beautiful with a beautiful view of Ponza. Rita and Antonio, who manage the building, are super available. They helped us to organise the day on the island, including boat exits, or the best beaches and restaurants to try. All right. The rooms are beautiful and spacious with large boxes, so functional. I suggest you require the room with balcony, very comfortable to dry out costumes or fabrics. To reach the villa you need to walk up (with stairs) about 12-15 minutes, or you can also get comfortable in taxi."
