"I booked a room for my mother at very short notice. The staff made her feel comfortable and welcome even though she was alone. Accommodated me having a delivery to the hotel etc. Excellent, couldn't thank the hotel enough."
Inn for All Seasons
Wesley House Holiday Cottages
"We stayed there for three nights during our Cornwall trip. We had the apartment with kitchen and living room upstairs and sleeping room on the ground floor. The rooms are in an excellent condition and the design is just lovely. There is a clear signature of the hosts who equipped the house with handcrafted interiors. We had a feeling of coming home when entering. One thing has to be mentioned. If you are a very tall person you have to be tolerant to the pitch of the roof which limits the height on the upper level. And, of course, just like for many roads in South West England, driving something like a Ferrari might get you into trouble. Here, only a short narrow road leads to the house which is not too much of a problem. The hosts, Sam and Martin, were also very lovely people. A great stay, a clear recommendation and we'd love to come back when coming back to Cornwall. Danke Euch Beiden! "Stayed one night at the cost of £100! Not cheap at all. We were sent a email to see if we were still going which was ridiculous because who would not go when you pay this amount of money for one night. The bedroom bedside lights were far to bright and needed some dimmer ones put in. There was no air conditioning or even a fan in the room so it was really warm especially with it being a hot Summers night. Not a comfortable night. Was told breakfast was up to 9.15am and that they wanted to get it all done by this time. We thought it was early they finished breakfast as other b and b’s finished at 10am. It was like it was a big chore for them to do it but don’t they don’t mind taking your money. The conservatory were the breakfast was served was very warm. Again no air conditioning or fans around. All the windows were shut and it was uncomfortable hearing everyone eat because it was so quiet without any background sound. They could at least of had the radio on just to kill the silence so I did not enjoy the breakfast one bit because of this. I would not go again as the owners are only interested in getting your money and felt like even making the breakfast was to much work for them. Should not run a b and b then! "
