"I stayed here the day before climbing Mt. Ishizuchi. It was easy to find, right on the corner in front of the station, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The large public bath was very relaxing, and the breakfast was delicious. I especially liked the miso soup with Matsuyama-age fried chicken. They also kept my luggage for the day after I checked out. I'd like to stay here again if I have the opportunity."

"This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The front desk was sloppy, the windows could be opened from inside the room, and it was the perfect location for someone wanting to jump off a building to commit suicide!! The loungewear was half-length sleeves on both the top and bottom... It's not even summer, and the whole room was retro and analog! Enough with the anachronism!! There was also a hand-drawn map of the surrounding area, but restaurants and convenience stores were only 10-15 minutes on foot...or 10-15 minutes by car...unbelievable inconvenience. This was the worst hotel ever. If you like hotels like this, please come and stay!!"
