Mim Sotogrande Meliá Collection ★★★★

"2/5 The rooftop itself is beautiful, with fantastic views and a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, the service completely let the experience down. We ordered a bottle of champagne costing around £130, so naturally expected a certain level of hospitality. Instead, we were met with rude, dismissive service from our waiter, which was disappointing and unnecessary. Having worked in hospitality myself for many years, I understand how challenging the industry can be and rarely leave negative reviews. However, this was genuinely one of the poorest service experiences I’ve ever had. Great venues are remembered not just for their setting, but for how guests are treated, and sadly this experience fell well short. I sincerely hope the management addresses the service standards, because the rooftop deserves much better."

"What a gem of a place! Had the most glorious weekend here by the pool interspersed with beach and port walks (literally over the road). Comfortable beds, gorgeous showers, strong wifi and spectacular views and surroundings. Thank you so much for looking after us. Can’t wait to come back."
