"The moment we walked towards the facility was breathtaking. The view was gorgeous, it was quiet, and it was beautiful. The staff was so friendly and very helpful. "This hidden gem in Cebu truly stood out with its exceptionally accommodating owners. Our room was not only spotless but also incredibly spacious, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The pillows and beds were not just comfortable but also impeccably clean, ensuring a restful night's sleep. 📍 KM138 National Road Brgy, Santander

"Came here just for one night to escape a place we really didn’t like, but wow! So, so happy we landed here. Went straight out for an unplanned dive and it was the best dive yet in the Philippines - several very large turtles, octopus, several eels, loads of soft and hard corals and an excellent guide that seemed to spot everything. Excellent food and beautiful room. Very small resort (6 rooms) means everyone’s needs are well catered for. Really hope to return…"

Avila's Horizon Dive Resort Santander ★★★
"A clean, cozy, fairly new hotel. Decent food, a clean pool, and helpful staff who were able to help with a number of issues. Laundry services and sun loungers are available on the beach. There's little nearby infrastructure, so everyone has their own options. However, you can rent a bike from the hotel and go to Oslob, the waterfalls, or elsewhere."

"The hotel is a perfect place for snorkeling, relaxing and visiting the attractions nearby like Kawasaki or Whaleshark Diving. Very friendly staff helped to book the trips."

"Everything was superb. We had comfortable beds, quality linens, lots of towels (it's fantastic for Philippines), premium invertor aircon, good swimming pool, YouTube. But we didn't have hot water("

"The photo is of the beach nearby. You have to walk through the thicket for about 8-10 minutes. To sit on the beach you have to pay something again. The people are very nice, but the showers are very dark and the hot water is very scarce."

"We stayed at Emoha for 6 nights and were absolutely happy with our stay. The accommodation is excellent. Lottie, Jean Michele and the whole team have an eye for detail and great attention to the guests wishes. The diving experience was very individual and tailored to our wishes. Diving with Ron, our dive guide, was stress free and he was absolutely brilliant in finding things for us. And we are definitely not easy to please divers with a dive history of +600 holiday dives. All thumbs up for this small but truly special Emoha dive resort. We will come back when we are on Cebu again."
