This hotel is good for the price. But be warned, there is zero English, barely anyone ever working there, and not a traditional real hotel. The pillows are horrible. The bed is hard. But the room is nice looking. Be prepared to wake up with some construction on the beach. Walking to the beach was 10 minutes. This hotel is a 2.3 star hotel in my opinion but the rooms looks like nicer than that. I wouldn’t go back but for some it’s good.

The few days I spent at Junji Seaview Hotel, Dadonghai, Sanya were the most unforgettable moments of my vacation. First of all, I would like to thank the front desk staff for upgrading me to an invincible sea view room. The view from the room is really great. When I wake up every morning, I can see the magnificent sea view at the first glance, which makes me completely immersed in the embrace of the sea. The hotel is newly renovated, the room facilities are very new, and the smart configuration of the whole house is really advanced and full of technology. And the infinity pool on the third floor is definitely a highlight. While swimming and enjoying the beautiful scenery, it feels like time has stopped. The location of the hotel is also very good. There is the seaside downstairs. You can go to the sea at any time and feel the charm of the sea. The breakfast buffet is very rich in variety and provides a variety of delicious food, which makes me full of expectations every day. This experience at Junji Seaview Hotel was really great. I will choose this place again next time I come to Sanya and look forward to enjoying the wonderful time here again.

I have been to Sanya so many times, and this is my favorite hotel! It is only 500m walk from Dadonghai near Luhuitou, Sanya, about 5 kilometers from the city, and only 20 kilometers from the high-speed rail station and the airport. The transportation is very convenient! Although it is an apartment, it is the first resort-style serviced apartment under Ascott. Not only can you experience the warmth, privacy and comfort of ”going home”, but you can also feel the unique fireworks from this island! The apartment is also equipped with a restaurant, park, infinity pool, gym, bar, conference room and children's playground! ! Each room has its own kitchen and refrigerator... You can also buy seafood and cook it! How can you not love it? I especially recommend Mr. Reece at the front desk, the service is very attentive and thoughtful!

The hotel is very old, the room we stayed in definitely needs renovation, and probably so do other rooms. The view is nice, though. The biggest disappointment was “private beach”. As the hotel staff pointed out, all the beaches in Sanya are now public, so no private beach whatsoever. The only thing the hotel could offer is a private gate to the beach, which was only open for one day during our stay, then it got closed because of some construction works at the beach. So, to get to the beach, we needed to take a detour through the main street which was awfully inconvenient. Just imagine going all the way back covered in sand and everything😡 The hotel has two swimming pools, one of them was closed. The other one was fine, no problem here. All in all, the hotel was quite a disappointment, not going back there again.

Large spacious rooms, with great views of the pool and sea. The rooms are angled such that you dont get 180 degree views and there’s a long wall on one side. There are many pools and steps away from the beach. The beach is rocky and unsuitable to enter barefooted. Feels more exclusive and luxurious than the JW Marriot next door. 95% of morning breakfast buffet items are repeated daily, hope the variety can change more often.

The hotel room was spacious and neat. It had a bathtub, separate shower/toilet, a large closet with a safe, a mini fridge and some cups, which I really liked since I made my own breakfast. The sea view from the balcony combined with that of the hotel's infinity pool looked amazing! The hotel is only 15 minutes by walk away from the nearest beach and everything is relatively close. Since it was located on a hill with a long drive through... ordering things from meituan was really convenient. They even had a meituan locker where you can scan the code and collect your order! The front desk receptionist spoke proper English, was nice and attended to my needs. They also had a gym and restaurant. It's sad that they didn't have a laundry room since I stayed in Sanya for a week and wanted to do my laundry. Also the pool closes at 7h so at night you couldn't swim. But you could lay down and enjoy the fresh nightly breeze!

We stayed for 8 nights in Baohong hotel. Here are the pros: - good location, nearby restaurants and nice beach - clean rooms, always fast and on time Cons: - the breakfast is terrible. It’s always cold and no variations. For 118 CNY you could have created something better. - the bed is terrible. Feels like you are laying on a wooden plank. - no English whatsoever, learn Chinese 🤦♂️ - no private beach as it was before, nowhere to lay down - swimming pool doesn’t get clean at all, it’s super dirty with leaves and grass

The couple who look after the apartments are super helpful and did everything they could to help us when the covid lockdown hit including setting up delivery options. I'll start with Jason's excellent service. A super helpful person who helped us since booking. We had transfer from the airport to the apartment for an affordable fee. The apartment is 5 minutes from the beach. The apartment is clean, airy, air conditioned, everything working perfectly and the beds very comfortable. Towels and sheets very clean.
