The room was very warm because of the warm weather. Parking is free and abundant. Breakfast room simply, buffet convenient and easy with finished breads, small selection sauce, cheese, etc. Delightful coffee from automatic or filtered. Hotel is located right next to the castle park, Very worth seeing !! You can drive convenient and affordable by bus to Heidelberg, day card for two for 10 Euros. Attention: from the train station to the old town about 2.5 km walk or by bus. Tip: Restaurant to the green courtyard, about 200m away, large beer garden. Or drive to Ladenburg by car, beautiful small place with old town, located right on the neckar.

I went to Frankfurt at 9:00 in the evening and went to the forest in the back of Stuttgart to do things. I really didn't dare to drive in at night, so I found this hotel. Very good choice.

Big room, very clean. They cleaned the room every day and replaced the towels. About a 10-15 minute car ride to the centre of town, around €18 one way by taxi. Around the corner is a supermarket and a bakkery. The latter is also opened on Sunday, on time for breakfast. A little tip though: the adress is actually Im Entenlach 33 (Kranichweg is the adress of the hotel, not the appartments). Our navigation didnt work well but Google maps came to our rescue

On recommendation, I booked the wheelchair room for one night by phone. A hotel, a small room with a double bed, 40 cm left to windows & heaters and 40 cm right to the wall and a large bathroom, heavenly roll-friendly. Even if with the toilet roller inaccessible in the back but otherwise good. How to get to bed with the wheelchair? Find another hotel at 20:00 Sunday?
