The Seattle Renaissance Hotel isn't too far from the cruise terminal, but it's all uphill, making the walk quite strenuous, especially with luggage. The rooms are a bit small overall, and the interior furnishings look a bit dated. The cleanliness after housekeeping was just average. The hotel doesn't offer free breakfast, so you have to order and pay for it separately if you want to eat. The hotel is right next to the Seattle Central Library, and it's a short walk to the subway station. The uphill climb throughout was the biggest downside of this stay, severely impacting the experience when carrying heavy items.
Our stay at this hotel was simply outstanding! From check-in to check-out, the service was impeccable. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, providing a relaxing atmosphere. The hotel's amenities were top-notch, and the staff's attention to detail made our experience truly exceptional. Highly recommended for a luxurious and comfortable stay!
I like how it is right in the centre. The self check in was so efficient however there was no information about where to get the breakfast- for what time etc. same for other amenities too. I booked with breakfast included the guy at the front desk maybe in early 30s to mid 40s told us that the breakfast will be the room across the reception but when we went there they were still charging customers even from the hotel so the information about breakfast is misleading.
We ended up not having breakfast despite paying for it on top of that 30 mins before our official check out the key card stopped working.
The misleading information was very frustrating as I paid for the service and didnt even get it.
The biggest problem is that the wooden base of the bed is very sharp, and there is a passage less than one meter away next to it, so it is easy to get hit on the legs. Our family of three was hit more than once. If someone is using the office chair next to it, you will probably get hit if you don't walk sideways. (As shown in the picture). The front desk was reluctant to serve us, and their expression was very reluctant. The water for the shower was not hot enough.
The room is quite good and new, and the location is good to walk to eat lobster rolls. The only bad point is that parking is very troublesome. The hotel does not have a parking lot. It can be valet parking, but because it is a traffic light on the street, it is easy to miss, or there are too many cars and there is no place to park, it will be very troublesome.
The room is quite big, but the air conditioner is a bit loud. The quilt in our room has a smell. I guess it's too humid near the sea. I originally booked a room with a view, but they are all in the building. I guess we arrived too late and there were no rooms. I was a little disappointed, but the location of the hotel is really good. It's very close to Pike Place Market, Space Needle and boat rides. You don't need to drive. It's all within a 10-minute walk. There is a supermarket opposite and many coffee shops downstairs.
I stayed at this hotel for a total of 9 days during my Seattle trip. The room was spacious and the bed was large and comfortable. It's conveniently located for sightseeing, though walking uphill to some attractions can be a bit tiring. It was great to have water available in the lobby downstairs.
1. Room comfort
The rooms are spacious and comfortable with complete facilities.
2. Service
The service of the accommodation is good overall, and the staff is friendly and professional.
3. Location
The hotel is in an excellent location, within walking distance of Pike Place Market, famous attractions and many restaurants, which is very convenient.
4. Hygiene
The accommodation is clean overall, the room facilities are complete, and the staff is friendly.
The location is super good, right next to the market and within walking distance. The hotel environment is also very good and quite comfortable. As long as you understand the tipping culture in the United States, you will have an enviable surprise when you check in.
