One gentleman, in particular, whose name I forgot to ask, communicated with us in fluent Chinese, making us feel very welcome. My only hope is that a jacuzzi could be installed next to the pool, which would make it perfect."

"The Travelodge offered a location that was hard to beat - right there near the iconic landmark that you can see from the corridors. They provide a little breakfast package with fruit, a granola bar and water which is a nice addition in times when most hotel charge absurd amounts of money for breakfast. Unfortunately, that's where the positives mostly ended for my stay. The room itself is super simple and in need of an upgrade. While clean, the furniture seemed worn, and the overall impression was one of a bygone era. Thin walls made it easy to hear noise from neighboring rooms, which disrupted a good night's sleep... For the price, I think other options in Seattle could offer a more comfortable and up-to-date stay. Unless location is your absolute top priority, I'd recommend looking elsewhere for your Seattle visit."
