"The hotel is a descent budget hotel in the heart of downtown Seattle. Its location is superior as it is only 5 minutes walk from the Westlake Station and in walking distance to many tourist attractions, including the Pike Flying Fish Market, Space Needle and so on. It is also convenient to travel to other attractions by the city public buses, the King County Metro. For budget travellers like us, it is really value for money. The hotel is clean and safe with friendly staff and owner. The complimentary breakfast was a surprise and bonus to begin a day in a hectic schedule. The new owner has put in a lot of effort to improve its services."

"We are traveling with 2 children for spring break trip. Arrived at the hotel late at night. The check in was fast, the staffs are very accommodation and helpful. Breakfast was great! staff always refill the food and beverage. The room are good size for us. Location near by the airport , you can hear the plane in your room."

GGuest UserHotel is Conveniently located near Line 1 - U District Station , only about 6 minutes walk to hotel from train station. We took Line 1 from airport to U District station. Hotel room is clean , spacious and nice and fits 2 queen size beds. Beds are also comfortable. There is also complementary breakfast . Safeway supermarket and eateries are all nearby . Easy to take Line 1 to do sightseeing .

We only stayed one night, but we loved every moment of it! 💫 We felt like we had arrived at a special place right from the moment we checked in - the staff was kind, smiling and really helpful 🤍. The room was simply beautiful! 🛏️ Clean, spacious, modern and incredibly comfortable - just what we wanted after a tiring day 😌. The view was also amazing, but the buzz of downtown remained a pleasant backdrop 🌆. The atmosphere of the hotel is elegant yet friendly, and every little detail was aimed at making us feel comfortable 💼🍃. The bed was as soft as a cloud - we haven't slept this well in a long time! 😴✨ I wish we had more time to stay here, but we will definitely be back! 💖 If anyone is visiting Seattle, I highly recommend Hyatt at Olive 8 - it really is a little gem in the heart of the city! 🏙️💎

GGuest UserJust needed a overnight stay for an exam the next morning. Checked in pretty late around 9pm ish. Had to pay for parking which was ehhh but it's Seattle. Bathroom was nice. There's a little fridge and a microwave in the room. Left the next morning at 0705. Check out was easy.

绿绿绿BettyThe hotel I stayed in when I first came to Seattle is not far from downtown, near 8th Ave. It is only a 10-minute walk from the famous Amazon headquarters Spheres, and it is also convenient to the popular attraction Pike Place Market. The hotel facilities are very new, the room sockets are sufficient, there are C-type and USB sockets, the overall atmosphere is simple, and there is an open bar on the first floor for reminiscing and chatting. I will choose it again next time I come

GGuest UserThey upgraded our room upon arrival! The staff were very friendly and courteous. We had a beautiful view room overlooking the city on the 14th floor. The pullout couch bed is really only suitable for one child. Our oldest daughter took the couch bed and said it was very uncomfortable so we had everyone in the extra large king sized bed. The king size bed was very comfortable, and the mattress was soft. The room was relatively clean, although a little dusty. Probably because of the location and the age of the hotel. The room was fully stocked with water and snacks. The bathroom was extremely clean! Breakfast was not included, so we had a five minute walk to Starbucks. The concierge accommodated us with a $15 shuttle ride to the cruise ship dock. The shuttle service was excellent and they took care of all of our bags.

GGuest UserI stayed at Inn at Virginia Mason because my family member is in the Virginia Mason hospital. My room was spacious, comfortable, and have some view of the building and ocean in a distance. I really enjoyed staying here. Even though the building is a little old, it was a comfortable stay and most important of all, I can be at the hospital in 5 min - which turned out to be extremely helpful in my case. Also, it's much cheaper than the hotel cross the street, the value is not comparable (I had to stay in the hotel cross the street the next day, I paid $300 for a much smaller and older room, while I only paid $200 for a king bed with view at Inn at Virginia Mason). There is also a nice cafe and outside seating next to it which is really very nice!

GGuest UserThe good: The house is really clean and lovely. We have all we needed to cook at home, and the rooms were nice and spacious.
The Bad: The location leaves a lot to be desired, lots of people fighting and threatening outside. Several nights we've had to endure listeng to screaming and someone being harassed. It's terrifying for my kids who may be technically adults but still on the younger side.
The Ugly: We've had a little incident where my partner, who's not technologically knowledgeable accidentally purchased a movie through the owner's account. The owner went through the roof calling names and accusing without asking what happened first. Reading other reviews in airbnb we can see this is not the first incident with him not being the nicest. There are ways to communicate without going from zero to sixty. We paid a few thousand dollars for this stay, another 5 bucks is not something we're looking to swindle.
