"We parked our car in the first parking lot of Takanosu-kan. Although we had a reservation, it was our first time, so we didn't know where the inn was. Since we had luggage for five people, we called, and a small car came to pick us up across the suspension bridge and helped us with our luggage. We crossed the suspension bridge to reach Takanosu-kan. Perhaps because we had crossed the suspension bridge, we checked in with a sense of excitement! ✨ We enjoyed the hot springs, and the dinner was delicious, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. The stars were incredibly beautiful from the suspension bridge at night. After the hot springs, our skin felt so smooth and refreshed – we were very satisfied! 😊 We'll definitely come back when we're in Niigata! 😊"

"It's quite rare to be able to adjust the temperature (flow rate) of the hot spring in your room. I usually use canned coffee and a stirring rod to keep the hot spring water hot (^_^). I stayed for two nights, and it was a really good place to just hide away and do nothing."

"Amazing luxury at a very affordable price. Hotel is a bit out of the way but it is worth a visit if you are on a drive tour of the region. Private onsen in the villas are available if you picked that option. The meals are all Kaisei and served in the villas. They do feed you to death with a vast amount of extremely high quality Japanese fair. Parking is across the Arakawa region but the proprietress will drive her little K-Car over to pick up your bags if you happened to have an insane amount of bags due to a long road trip land are staying multiple days ike us."

"We visited together to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We arrived in time to see the autumn leaves🍁, and our stay was even more wonderful than we had imagined. The food was nothing flashy, but everything was excellent and no effort was spared. The hot springs (two open-air baths in the rooms, one indoor bath) are so good you'll have a hard time deciding which one to bathe in. We loved it so much that we made an unexpected reservation for January. We're also looking forward to seeing the snow scenery."
