"I stayed from February 29 to February 8, 2025, room 4, second floor. The first thing that makes the impression is the building itself. I don’t know what Creole estates looked like a hundred years ago, but it seems to me that this is exactly what. Wooden two -story houses with huge terraces, a large living room, a kitchen and a veranda. Just walking around this house is already a pleasure - a creaky wooden staircase with the same wooden railings directly evokes thoughts about the glorious past of this house. Surely once there were many such houses, but now there are almost no left. Room 4 is large, from furniture - a bed, a wardrobe with a mirror, a TV, a chair. From the room, two huge double doors lead to a terrace that is bordering the room on both sides. From the sun of the terrace, the blinds are closed. On the third side, the door leading to the bathroom. From the bathroom there is another door to the terrace, and the window overlooking the neighboring house. There is an air conditioner. Wi Fi works properly. They cleaned almost every day, asking when it was necessary to clean when not. The underwear was changed every three days. In the hotel itself, cleanliness is simply perfect. You can walk without shoes. The staff is very polite and educated. The owner of the hotel met for free at the airport and, when leaving, took it there. The main drawback is noise. The road is noisy under the windows, on weekends, music from the restaurant opposite is noisy. Creole music on this occasion hesed a lot, it is very similar in sound with Russian music of recent years. I don’t know why, but sometimes even the words seemed Russian. What this hotel was convenient for me - nearby there is a bus station through which buses pass from Victoria to the south of the island of MaE. Until Victoria, it is half an hour by bus, to the airport for ten minutes. If your goal is to look at the island, then this is very convenient. Nearby there are many shops with ordinary, not tourist prices. I can recommend this hotel to those who are interested in traveling the island, for this it is very suitable. Thanks to the owner and hotel staff for their stay in it!"

"- LOCATION: is above Mountain beside French embassy on famous road connected “Victoria” city to the West coast. Bus St. is closed 50m away to arrive everywhere in island including SEZ-Airport via Victoria bus terminal where you can buy unlimited use tourist bus Card paid cash or card against SCR 100-190-350 for 1-4-8 days. Bus finish about 19:00 except in Sundays & Holidays and working with time schedule. Officially, checked big Bag is not allowed (There is no space, 5 seats per raw) but you actually still ride with bag. The best Beaches “Port Launay”, you can catch by 1 bus only #13 to the S.W. direction & “Beau Vallon” Beach catch by 2 buses to N.W. direction. - Double ROOM with mountain view in upper floor is better than the description during the reservation includes small Fridge, 2 Windows, multi languages TV channels, (enough) ceiling Fan, Cupboard & Chair, and private Bath with hot water but without shampoo plus WF is existing and strong. - HOTEL: is from about 6 rooms distributed in different levels. Large shared Kitchen with dining area at ground floor is complete include 24 hr. free (Water +Tea +Coffee +Sugar) and beside it shared Bathroom & Toilet serve 2 rooms. Garden is nice with fruits and different seats. There is another Sitting area at lower floor include shared TV plus small Safety Box. I didn’t use the Parking and there is no atmosphere or night life. - STAFF: is Family run live in the same place were welcomy and helpful. They give many different Fruits. The Son picked me up from the Airport Free of charge because I reserved 6 nights and during the road to the hotel show me the East View point for Eden (Artificial) island plus after you checked me in, took me to the city at Victoria bus terminal to but the bus Card. Hotel Car to Airport = 25EUR /400SCR, to Ferry Port = 10EUR /150R, and 1-day use tour around the island = 90EUR /1500R."

Nice view from the sea-facing rooms. The sea in front is not suitable for swimming. In my opinion a bit too expensive for a hotel of this type, which remains rather basic."

"Nice small resort, with rooms strung out up the hillside. Lots of vegetation, giving shady privacy around every room. Nice walk to the room, lots of steps for daily exercise, but lots of mosquitoes due to high humidity. Bungalows are roomy but need much better lighting inside. Outdoor bathroom was nice, with very large bath. Tech needs upgrading - can only get free wifi in reception area. Bar area well located with lovely views across the bay, but some more thought needed about where smoking section is located, as currently if anyone is smoking the smoke wafts throughout the whole bar area and into the restaurant, which makes an unpleasant environment to eat and drink in. Food was ok, but could be better. Snorkeling is very accessible and is ok, we were unlucky with the weather for the few days we visited, making the visibility quite poor, but if it was more settled, i imagine it would have been nice. Disappointing that we were there to celebrate our Silver Wedding Anniversary and had informed them of this, but didn't receive any acknowledgement about this, not even a small flower on our table!"

"The hotel is situated in a lovely location looking down on the city of Victoria. It’s in lovely, well maintained grounds, with a large clean swimming pool. The room was clean and spacious. What we loved most of all was the kindness of the staff. The meals were at least as good as those we had in the highest rated restaurants in the area. You will need a car if you stay for more than a few days, but it’s definitely worth it to be able to enjoy this hillside retreat."
