The hotel's location is excellent, and the room facilities are relatively new. Miss No. 1 at the hotel provided thoughtful service, so my stay was quite satisfactory. The parking lot is quite large, both above ground and underground, which is very convenient. You don't even have to leave the hotel, as there's a private kitchen on the 16th floor. The value for money is pretty good. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town! [Strong][Strong]

The Shantou Overseas Chinese Hotel (Shantou Huaqiao Dasha) is located in the Shantou Special Economic Zone's commercial center, about a 15-minute drive from Shantou Airport and 10-minutes from the seaport and the railway station. With good transportation links, guests will be able to experience the many attractions that this city has to offer.There are several Chinese restaurants serving a variety of fine dishes from the Chaozhou and Cantonese culinary traditions. Guests can also enjoy a nice drink or coffee at the Bar.Guests can make use of the function hall, as well as a business center offering international telephony, fax and ticket reservation services. I chose this one when I came to Shantou to play, and the price/performance ratio was directly full! Hygienic and clean, the rooms are intelligently controlled, smart toilets, automatic curtains. The bedding is soft and sleeps super fragrant~ The front desk is warm and hospitable, free parking + self-service laundry are very practical, downstairs is the park, pedestrian street, shopping is too convenient! The first day of the fixed value room type, a bit small, the large suitcase shop is a bit crowded, there are windows to ventilate, the next day the front desk continued to live and gave a free upgrade to the room.

This hotel is only half a year old, so all the facilities are brand new, with no limescale or mold to be found. They have a washing machine and dryer, plus a minibar (though it only contains two bottles of water). It's very clean and hygienic, and the common area on the first floor is incredibly spacious. The location is also pretty good; I walked to Longyan South, and you can easily take an electric scooter to Plaza Ferry, Binhai Road, and Xiaogongyuan. There are plenty of food and drink options nearby too. The only downside is that there's a construction site right at the hotel entrance, which isn't very aesthetic. Sometimes after 8 AM, you can hear some banging and clanging from the hallway or other rooms. Also, while other chain hotels usually allow a free late check-out until 2 PM when not fully booked, here they only extend it to 1 PM. It's okay, but I wish they were a bit more generous.

My main complaint is the squatting toilet and that the toilet/shower area and the wash stand area are of different levels and there is no demarcation strip to show the difference. I almost tripped several times and luckily my foot did not go into the toilet hole. I had to put a pair of bathroom slippers at the edge of the toilet/shower area to alert myself about it. I have to praise the room cleaner who came to clean while I was in the room. I complained about how dangerous it was and that I had to put bathroom slippers to remind me of the difference in floor heights. The next day, when I came back to the room, there was a warning sticker on the floor. There was no chair in the room which was quite inconvenient, especially when I bought dinner to eat in the room. Other than those two issues, the location is good if you like to visit public parks. There is one really near the hotel.
