📍 306 Utorokagawa, Shari

"Although the hotel is a bit dated, the views are absolutely stunning, and the breakfast was delicious. I had originally booked for two nights, but due to a heavy snowstorm in Sapporo, I couldn't make it. After contacting the hotel through Trip.com, they were very kind and allowed me to cancel one night, which saved me from a loss. Excellent service!"

Hotel Both ★★

📍 106-4 Ikushinakita, Shari District, Shari

"The service was good, but the location was very remote. The nearest convenience store was less than 2km away, and it was very far from Shiretoko Co-man Station. You couldn't eat in the room; you had to go to the dining area. I accidentally went to the restaurant, which was embarrassing."

"The space is very large, more than enough for a family. Plus, there's a kitchen where you can cook your own meals. For this price, it's quite a bargain. I stayed here two years ago and was very satisfied, so I came back. There have been some changes; the kitchen no longer provides basic seasonings, so you need to bring your own."

The SUNSET Shiretoko ★★★
"The apartment was well located with wonderful views of the ocean & harbour, especially during sunset. Rooms were clean with many amenities in common areas such as complimentary tea/coffee and some sodas. However, do take not that rooms don’t come with on suite bathrooms (only toilet). Showering facilities are all shared (genders are separated), so worth considering for those who mind. Otherwise, it is a really wonderful accommodation, would recommend!"

Shiretoko Daiichi Hotel ★★★★
"The hotel is located on a hill, so walking up and down can be a bit challenging. The room was spacious with a nice view outside. The public bath area was huge, with about 5-6 different pools. Plus, they had all-you-can-drink beer at dinner, which was a big plus!"

Rembrandt Resort Shiretoko ★★★
"The hotel facilities and decor are quite new. There's a large public bath and lounge area on the rooftop, and snacks and drinks are available on the ground floor. You can walk to the nearby mountains to watch the sunset and see foxes, and the pier is also a short walk away where you can go on a boat trip to see bears. There are two relatively large convenience stores nearby."
