Olivean Shodoshima Yuhigaoka Hotel ★★★★★
"The hotel is located in Shodoshima. The hotel occupies a large area and the rooms are large. The service staff are respectful and welcome drinks are provided. The hot springs are very large. There are indoor hot springs and outdoor hot springs. The outdoor hot springs face the Seto Inland Sea. One side is soaked in hot springs and the other is hot springs. Looking at the scenery, it is the highest level of enjoyment. Dinner needs to be a buffet, but I used Shang Sheng. It is of high quality and has fresh fish. The room is also large and the wifi is good. I will definitely stay here next time."

"Stayed in March 2026. This is a brand new hotel on Shodoshima, incredibly comfortable and modern! There's also a fantastic yakiniku restaurant nearby. The outdoor heated pool is amazing too. I would definitely come back!"
MILLENNIUM OLIVE TERRACE for your wellness The STAY ★★★
"It was a wonderful hotel. It was equipped with cooking equipment, so I would like to stay here for several nights next time."
Aqua Hotel Shodoshima Resort ★★★★
"Everything was very satisfactory, except the hotel's location wasn't ideal; it was quite far from many attractions in Tosho and Hante districts. Getting to Tosho Port by ferry required a 60-minute bus ride, and getting to Hante took another 30-40 minutes. The Shodoshima bus schedule was fixed, and missing it meant missing your bus back to the hotel. So, transportation was very inconvenient, and there were no restaurants or shops nearby. It was purely a vacation spot for enjoying the sea."
Sun House
Tenku Hotel Kairo ★★★
"I was attracted by a book and booked a mountain view room for cheap. I don't recommend this room type, not because the view is bad, but because the first floor is on the same floor as the hotel kitchen. The corridor smells of oil. I am very sensitive to smells, so I give a bad review on this point. I didn't book the hotel dinner, so I don't know how the food is. Breakfast is a small hot pot and some Japanese cold dishes. The midnight snack is relatively common in the Japanese hot spring hotels I have stayed in. The hot spring hotels I have stayed in Hokkaido or Izu before, the midnight snacks are richer and more delicious, and they are also included in the room rate and provided free of charge. I want to emphasize the service of the front desk. They patiently answer my questions and give me the best solution. In order to catch a bus, I wanted to take a taxi to the bus station. The man with glasses at the front desk told me that it would take ten minutes for the taxi to come, and asked me to wait. The hotel car will be back from the pier soon. After returning, I asked the hotel driver to take me there, which saved a taxi fare and caught the bus smoothly. I especially thank him, but unfortunately I forgot his name."
Hotel Yoko ★★
"The room is cold, the shower doesn't work in the morning, the breakfast is poor"
Okatei ★★★
"Very good"
La Krasse Angelroad ★★★

Seatiger Island Inn Shodoshima
"I was told that breakfast was included, but when I went to breakfast, all that was there was rice from the rice cooker, instant seaweed soup, and pickled radish. I asked, "Is this breakfast?" and was told to help yourself, but I was surprised at how unlikely it was! I'll never go again."
Villa Chillon
"Cooking for myself was fun, and the environment was just as I had imagined it would be when I looked at the introduction website beforehand, so it was great. I would have liked to stay a few nights and relax, fishing on the nearby beach. The only thing that was a bit off was that the bath didn't have a reheating function. Other than that, the room and toilet were very clean, so it was a very pleasant stay!"
Irou
"The location was great, right in front of the ocean and in a quiet area. Also, check-in and check-out were smooth and easy."

Shodoshima Mitonosato
"Very good experience! If you can speak Japanese, you can call the store in advance to communicate the details before checking in. For example, whether you need the store to drive to pick you up, what time dinner will be served, and other details can be agreed in advance. A sumptuous and delicious dinner and breakfast will be provided, which is shocking The service is attentive and meticulous, the environment is elegant, and the store thoughtfully provides skin care products (from Sekkisei), pajamas, slippers, bicycles, clogs, etc. According to the official website, you can even make reservations for fishing and digging vegetables. There is a dedicated sauna and spa room where you can take a bath, as well as a perfect open-air hot spring. It is so enjoyable. When leaving, the store can also arrange for a car to be delivered to a convenient location. Perfect experience❤️"
Shodoshima Olive Youth Hostel
"My eight siblings and I stayed here, and it was better than a regular hotel. The service was also excellent, and we were very grateful for the minibus that took us to and from town instead of a taxi."
