"We had a wonderful stay at Sifnakia Konakia, Sifnos. Maria was exceptionally kind and always willing to help with anything we needed. Her warm hospitality made us feel welcome from the very first moment. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. Maria prepares it herself every morning, and it is absolutely delicious, homemade, and prepared with great care and dedication. You can really feel the love she puts into it. Throughout our stay, Maria was constantly concerned about the well-being and comfort of her guests. She truly goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has a pleasant experience. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable, and have a lovely balcony. They are equipped with everything you need, and the surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. The location is excellent, very close to the port and convenient for exploring the island. We had an issue with our reservation, and Maria resolved it quickly and very effectively, which we greatly appreciated. The Wi‑Fi was occasionally a bit unstable, but honestly, when you are on such a paradise island, enjoying the beauty and atmosphere of Sifnos becomes far more important. We are truly grateful for the hospitality we received and highly recommend staying here. 100% recommended!"

Not the Cycladic minimalism featured on the website. - Private veranda sited back from terrace, up against an outside wall —impractical - No Wi-Fi in room or veranda. An extender was promised, but never came."

"Very disappointing stay – not worth the price I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at Smaragdi Hotel in Sifnos was deeply disappointing. Upon arrival, I immediately noticed the lack of cleanliness. Shockingly, there was mud on the bed matress and sheets when I first checked in. The air conditioning unit was also dirty and appeared poorly maintained, which made the room uncomfortable. For the price paid, I expected at the very least a clean and functional room — this was not the case. While the location of the hotel is convenient, the poor hygiene standards overshadowed any positives. I raised these issues during my stay, but the response felt dismissive rather than helpful. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Smaragdi Hotel. There are many other wonderful places to stay in Sifnos, and I regret not choosing differently."

The open-air fitness center is equally impressive, with breathtaking views that make every workout something to look forward to. We also loved visiting the resort’s wine cellar for a tasting, where we sampled a wonderful selection of unique wines from Greece. It was an intimate and memorable experience that we highly recommend. One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the private three-hour boat excursion arranged by the hotel. Everything was flawlessly organized, allowing us to explore secluded beaches, snorkel in crystal-clear waters, and swim in some of the most beautiful spots around Sifnos. It was truly an unforgettable experience. NOS Hotel & Villas perfectly captures the spirit of Sifnos—elegant, welcoming, peaceful, and authentic. The resort has an incredible atmosphere, world-class service, and a team that genuinely cares about creating unforgettable memories for every guest."

"My wife and I recently stayed three nights at Niriedes, a very nice hotel overlooking the beach and bay. The rooms were very clean and gave a great view. We spent a good amount of time on the balcony overlooking the bay, reading, and just relaxing. The hotel’s owner Thanos was always happy to help with a taxi or answer questions and the breakfast that included baked goods and pastries was amazing. The hotel is a short walk from many restaurants and is a great base to explore the rest of Sifnos from. Would highly recommend!"
