"We have just returned from a lovely week staying at Creta Palm, I would happily recommend it. All staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, they really go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. Our room was very good, great size, comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. The cleaning staff were very thorough, thank you to them for their hard work. Breakfast had a really good choice of both hot and cold food, even the fussiest eater could have a good breakfast. There are two good sized pools at Creta Palm, plenty of sun beds around the pools and in garden areas. All in all we had a great week here, we would happily return. The location is excellent, a really lovely beach just across the road and plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The bus stops just outside the hotel for easy travel into Chania or other nearby resorts."

"Fabulous studio apartments with amazing vista, sunsets, and swimming pool. The ground floor studio we had access easy out to the pool. The studio was modern, scrupulous, clean, spacious, and comfortable beds. The studio was kitted out with everything, except a toaster. You can order breakfast, but we never did. Maria and her family were always on hand. The supermarkets, beach, and restaurants are a 15-minute walk downhill, local food was amazing, and never had a bad meal. There are a few different sandy beaches/bays, sunbed ranged from €10-15 It was easy to jump on a bus to Chania €2 each, bus are every 20 mins. There is a happy train that goes to different areas of Stalos. "

"This was a great place. Obviously you need a car to reach, but then most places on the island outside the city do. Plenty of parking on site. Family run. Super nice and friendly. Sitting on a hilltop with gorgeous views of sea. Our room wasn't too big, but that wasn't an issue for us, since we're out most of the time. The pool was cute. We went early in morning and evening and didn't find it busy. Breakfast buffet was small but again, nothing really to complain about. We ate the food and were satisfied. It can be a bit tricky initially to navigate and find your way to the hotel from the main road. There are several routes. Just drive slow and you'll be fine. Overall, we had a nice holiday and if we're coming back to the same area we would probably choose to stay here again."

"We had a very pleasant stay at Artemis Apartments. The location is wonderful - just a short walk to the beach, and many shops and restaurants nearby. We loved how close everything was, yet the place feels quiet and peaceful. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful (many thanks to Nikos) -always ready to assist with anything we needed. Breakfast was good, though fairly simple and similar from day to day. But I suspect this is because it’s off-season. Some things stood out: the WiFi worked well most of the time, the pool area is lovely and well-maintained, and the value for money is excellent."

"Location was perfect in Stalos just before Agia Marina. It was great to avoid the very heavy traffic the further you go. This was also good if you have a car to park, we had available parking directly in front of the hotel, because parking is much more difficult the further you go. He was also accommodating for a bottom floor if mobility is concern. The beach is much smoother and cleaner here at this end also. The pool was wonderful and sunsets were gorgeous on the patio. There is an outdoor cafe where you can order drinks, fresh squeezed juice, light snacks, salads, etc.. Nikos was a wonderful host going above and beyond, he provided concierge services calling many local places helping us organize things we needed. Everything was clean and lovely. Highly recommend staying here."

"The staff were very helpful; we stayed 3 nights in April – too cold for the pool and sea. The "center" – with several restaurants and supermarkets – is just a few minutes away, so it served more as a base for excursions. An indoor pool is currently being built in the spa area; if we're allowed to use it, it would be great for the off-season. Breakfast was excellent, and parking is available."

"I've just returned from a wonderful holiday in Crete which was our first visit. We stayed at Girogiali and we really enjoyed our stay. The beach is literally on your doorstep and the pool is fabulous. It is in a great area for restaurants and shops and we didn't want for anything. All the staff were friendly and helpful and our room was cleaned every 2 days with clean towels provided. The sunbeds are free and plentiful. While the on site bar was closed on our trip there was a lovely one just a few steps away next door so no problems. The shower was a tad small but that would be my only criticism. Thank you Girogiali for making our first trip to Crete a memorable one. Hope to see you next time."

The location is excellent, with the nearest beach only a few minutes' walk away. Chania is easy to reach by local bus or car. The apartment is a perfect base for exploring the surrounding area. "Cozy hotel for families! The cleaning is highly appreciated! The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms small and quite old, but clean. The staff should work a bit on being more welcoming and smiling! Aphrodites from reception was the only one who made us feel good about being here! She’s amazing. The breakfast was ok, except the cookies from the jars that seemed to be the same for one week without being changed!"

"Wonderful hosts, beautiful rooms and an incredibly peaceful pool. If you’re looking for somewhere peaceful and laid back, this is your place. The rooms were modern and look recently refurbished; in absolutely perfect condition. The pool area was really quiet, only us and occasionally someone popping down for a swim but we had the whole area to ourselves nearly all day, on a Sunday too! The hosts were really friendly, accommodating and welcoming."

"Where to start? The villa is gorgeous, EVERYTHING you could need, from a lovely welcome pack the moment you walk in to little things like hard and soft pillows to choose from. Aircon in every room, dishwasher, washing machine, toastie machine, dishwasher tablets I could go on. Just think of everything you have in your house now and it's here. Double bed in one room, 2 singles in the others easy pushed together if required. Supermarkets and bank 2 mins walk away, lovely restaurants, beach across the road with plenty bars. Around 35 mins from Airport, 20 mins from main town Chania. Hosts are very responsive, check in took minutes. In a nutshell this is where you want to be. Usually we like to move around the world for our holidays (over 20 countries now) and this is the only one that's really felt like home. Biggest praise I can give it."

"This is the best hotel I've ever been to. We had a family vacation, there was a room with a side view of the sea, the views from the room are simply amazing, the hotel is very beautiful and stylish, everything is thought out to the smallest detail. A pleasant and polite hostess, told me where it is better to have dinner, where to buy groceries. Large spacious room, has everything you need, convenient location, bus stop, shops and taverns nearby, excellent sandy beach. The rest was magical. I recommend. 10 out of 10"
