"Last review before my last one dates back to 2021 and in 5 years nothing has changed, only 5 more years... it's not possible in 2026 a 2-star with the characteristics of 1960s guesthouses... and to those who talk to me about price, I reply that we are used to staying out from 8 am to 11 pm and only sleeping in the room and I can name dozens of names throughout Italy that for the same price you get much more. The only positive note is the cleanliness of the room, while the bathrooms are literally falling apart. Breakfast is decent."

"After an extremely suggestive sunset on the Libbia road, we arrive late in the evening at Villa La Ginestra, a villa surrounded by greenery. We find Federico welcoming us, who with cordiality and kindness makes us sit in a very comfortable room of the beautiful residence he manages. The furnishings are stimulating and never banal (a selection of books in different environments stands out, always very welcome). Cleanliness is excellent, relaxation guaranteed. The highlight of the stay was the breakfast prepared by Federico himself, a selection of very high quality desserts (the tart was excellent) served in the garden near the beautiful swimming pool which we did not use due to lack of time. If you need information on what to see in the surrounding area, Federico can direct you towards the hidden beauties of Casentino. So many words in this review, to simply tell you: highly recommended!"
