"The island was beautiful and we really loved the place. However, I was disappointed with the drone policy. Even though I already had a permit, drone flying was only allowed in one specific area, which did not feel safe because it was surrounded by water. It would be better to provide safer and more flexible flying locations for visitors with approved permits."

"The location is excellent, not far from where they take you to see the whale sharks. The hotel provides round-trip transfers, but you can also walk about 500 meters in 10 minutes, though it's along the road. The price for the whale shark tour from the hotel with transfer is 1000 pesos; without transfer, it's 500 pesos per person if you book on site. The rooms are spartan, with nothing but a bed and a table. There's a water heater in the shower, but it doesn't quite do its job. However, for 3,000 rubles, if you just came to see the whale sharks, spend a night, and leave, it's perfectly justifiable. The hotel has a restaurant where you can grab a bite, and nearby there's a pier with boats that can take you to a small, opposite island with white coral sand. This hotel is really just for a 1-2 night stay."

From the breathtaking views from our rooms to the crystal-clear sea right outside our door, everything was just perfect. The view from the rooms was truly spectacular. Every morning, we were greeted by a stunning panoramic view of the sea and the surrounding landscape that simply took our breath away. It was like a painting unfolding anew every day. The resort's location by the sea was an absolute dream! Snorkeling right outside the door was an unforgettable experience. The diversity of marine life and the clarity of the water made snorkeling a true adventure that we wanted to experience again and again. However, what truly distinguished the resort were the friendly owners and the extremely kind and hardworking staff. Every single member of the staff was always eager to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Their warmth and dedication made our vacation unforgettable. The rooms were spacious and luxuriously appointed. There was simply everything one could wish for. From comfortable beds to modern amenities, everything was taken care of. We felt right at home and were able to relax completely. Overall, I can highly recommend this resort. It combines a dream location, excellent service, and first-class accommodations for an unforgettable vacation experience. We will definitely come back! Best regards Family Sunshine"

"So happy! The room was a bit dated, and the cleanliness wasn't on par with luxury brands, but compared to other small guesthouses in Oslob, it was practically divine. The best part is the floating platform with amazing views – you can just step out of your room and jump right into the water. Service varies by individual, but generally, everyone was very welcoming. I'm so happy I'm coming back!"

"You absolutely have to stay here! It's so incredibly clean and wonderful! My 3 friends and I stayed, and it was just fantastic! The breakfast was delicious too! They even prepared it for us to take out, so we could eat it on the beach. I highly recommend the plate with the soft-boiled eggs!!"

"We stayed here on a family trip. The reviews across the web saying Masayahin is a gem are spot on. It’s a small resort in a quiet peaceful location yet somehow convenient to sooo many attractions in southern Cebu and nearby islands. We cannot overstate how happy we were with everything. Everything is just better here. The quality of: the room, the linens, the pillows, the beds, the towels, the internet, the food…everything is just a little better. Even compared to much more expensive places we have stayed in the past in Cebu. The hosts are great! Ask them anything. The staff are helpful and courteous. Don't miss snorkeling with the sea turtles. Wow! Thank you so much from our family! And, “another order of buffalo wings, please.”"

"Not finding an attractive hotel in Oslob, this place delivered with only a twenty minute drive to see the whale sharks. Mike the owner, friendly guy and happy to chat; Andrea and her team smiley and delivering on service. Went snorkeling multiple times a day, drying off on a hammock at the private beach and enjoyed swimming near a sea turtle. Best fluffy pancakes I've had on our summer adventure and they hit the spot alongside a freshly plucked coconut after our swim with the whale sharks. Also, locally brewed IPA on tap, nice! With a shot o the rocks of some run to wash it down. The guide used for the whale sharks tour, Alex, and sweet and reliable. Granada was an oasis of calm and much welcomed. Great pool as well! Best massage I’ve had in awhile and was overlooking the bay, just lovely"
