It is rare to be able to maintain such service passion while working during the Chinese New Year. Furthermore, the breakfast tastes good. As expected of a restaurant and a hotel, the quality of the dishes is remarkable. Finally, there is the hotel environment. It is an old hotel, but the rooms are still very carefully and cleanly cleaned. After all, the occupancy is so large, I feel very satisfied. I will choose here again next time. The only thing is that the location is a little far away from the downtown area, but you can't have your cake and eat it too. As a person born in the 90s, hotels with ”hotel” in their names always feel very old. If my father hadn't seen it on his mobile phone, I probably wouldn't have chosen it 😂. If the name could be changed, I think it would be better. .

The free hanfu experience was disappointing. There was no enthusiasm or any attempt to promote the services. Initially I was keen on the add-on make-up experience but did not have the confidence to take it up seeing the lack of motivation from the service staff, who were busy on their phones most of the time. We had breakfast at the Rui noodle house. The food was so-so compared to everything else we tried in Suzhou. However i am rating Pan Pacific 5 stars as the above are not directly controlled (I assume) by the hotel. The hotel’s service staff were warm and helpful. They arranged for a room with a fantastic view of the Panmen Scenic Area. Also, we received a surprise dessert/birthday treat in the room with a sweet note. Derrick at the front desk was especially helpful and proactive with solving a payment issue we had with food delivery and arranging for late checkout. Thank you! We also appreciate the tickets and access to the Panmen area. It was super lovely to enjoy all it had to offer at a leisurely pace without the crowds at some other scenic areas. All in all a wonderful stay and we would be most confident to recommend Pan Pacific Suzhou to family and friends.

The hotel room is clean and tidy, the view on the 16th floor is nice, the service of the staff is very good, the disposable slippers are very nice, and the fresh meat mooncakes and Qingtuan downstairs are delicious.

I came to Suzhou to travel and chose this hotel. At the beginning, the room was very dark. The child said that he didn't live. Later, he contacted the front desk. Contact the front desk, the front desk said that the umbrella needs to be sent back? Then Sister Zhou gave me two umbrellas! Very good! I am very touched! For example, you can see the lobby manager every day when you enter and exit the hotel. If you have any needs, you can solve them at any time. The doorman is also very dedicated, helping to take the luggage and delivering it to the room. The security guards are also in place to supervise the parking of the vehicles, and the cleaning staff are very serious; second, the room attendants fully satisfied our request for a few more bottles of mineral water, and provided them every day during the four-day stay; third, the breakfast organization is very orderly, and individual guests and team or conference personnel are separated and do not affect each other. Every breakfast, you can see the restaurant supervisor on site to assist in the arrangement, and the service staff can also clean up the dining environment in time. This is a problem that many five-star hotels have not solved well, but it is handled very well here; fourth, the parking environment is very convenient and safe, and the hotel is in a good location; fifth, the hotel environment fully reflects the characteristics of Suzhou gardens, and the internal environment is very beautiful. This hotel is worth recommending and gives a five-star rating.

Very good, the environment is as warm and comfortable as ever, very clean. This time I accidentally left the wallet in the room, and the young lady at the front desk was very enthusiastic to contact me and send me the wallet back. Although there is no money in the wallet, the certificate is too important to me. I must give the cleaning aunt and the young lady at the front desk a thumbs up, five-star praise, I will stay on Shishan Road for the whole season on business trips in the future. It’s great. I really appreciate the staff inside.

Did not meet expectations. Building has issues. -Rooms had temperature issues that the AC could not handle, Hotel tries to handle this with curtains and a paper notice (see picture. With the curtains closed Room was 35°C at check-in in winter because the room was on the sunny side). -Lack of hot water for the shower/bath in the evening, hotel said it has trouble handling peak hours (and they weren't even fully booked). -Shoehorn dropped in the middle of the night, waking us. Hanger is a double sided tape variety. -Other obvious maintenance issues like the electrical socket being misaligned, and the toilet seat having bad gearing in the smart toilet. -No decaf coffee available in the room, the staff said there is none (did not even know what it was). Normally with this brand of coffee the decaf is in blue packets. -Breakfast was mediocre at best. Pretty standard mainland fare. Line to the noodle stall was excessive, and for everything else the quality was lacking. On the positive side, the pool and the sauna were satisfactory. Good parking too. Firm bed for those who like it. Staff was fairly responsive despite, although Chinese is helpful. And for one of the 3 rooms booked we got an upgrade (although all of the negatives above still apply)

I took my old mother on a two-day trip to Suzhou and chose Yicheng, which was newly opened in 2023, after comparing many aspects. After the experience, I was very satisfied with this choice. The hotel is in an excellent location. Suzhou Railway Station is only a 10-minute drive away. It is also very convenient to get to other scenic spots by bus or subway. Some places can be reached on foot. City Walk is a good choice. The room was also clean and tidy, and it also had an electric toilet. The old mother was very satisfied with this, and the overall stay was very comfortable. There is also a cute little water delivery robot ^_^ The front desk staff are very good, very proactive and enthusiastic. Personally, I think it is a very cost-effective hotel.

It is close to surrounding scenic spots and shopping malls. I especially like the family room I stayed in this time. It is spacious and comfortable, and the dressing room is very practical. I like it.
