"We stayed only one night in this hotel without using the services. We had a great time, the staff was kind, courteous and helpful. Clean, spacious rooms with every comfort. Breakfast with little choice but quality (especially the 2 cakes we found). A splendid view from both our room and the terrace for breakfast. The only flaw was the parking unfortunately both in terms of space, number and price."

The spa is very pleasant, well-maintained, and ideal for indulging in a few hours of pure well-being. The breakfast room is also excellent, bright and with a truly breathtaking view of Her Majesty Mount Etna, making waking up even more special. The staff was always friendly, helpful, and attentive, ready to accommodate every request with a smile. "We are only now reading the reviews from 2019 and we have to conclude that nothing has changed, conclusion: you should not go in May, because then they are only busy for the guests of the high season. Upon arrival on Thursday we were told that the beach was not accessible due to a storm the day before .... 24 hours later we found out that this was possible for an exclusive party from which hotel guests were "of course" excluded. That same evening there was also another party in the lobby, which put the (helpful) staff under such pressure that the hotel guests were neglected. And, oh yes; 1) the bathroom smelled like "the drain sign" 2) the coffee is still undrinkable 3) the breakfast is fine 4) the restaurant staff will run off with your plate while you are still enjoying a delicious sauce on your plate 5) the rooms are quite OK 6) the hotel is stuck somewhere in the 70s, nothing wrong with me, but maintenance is part of it!"
