"We have just returned from a fabulous break at Baia Taormina hotel. It is beautifully situated with well appointed, clean rooms. The staff were superb. The receptionists were especially welcoming, helpful, patient and very keen to make our holiday a memorable experience. Likewise the dining area staff especially Valentina who were friendly and helpful. The pools are excellent again the lifeguard was so welcoming and helpful. In fact every member of staff I encountered was a credit to the hotel. Shuttle service to nearby Taormina town was reliable. The terrace restaurant was an experience in itself with beautiful views, excellent food and of course friendly service. I thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of a trip to Sicily."

"The hotel is very good. Although the swimming pool is not big, it has a beautiful view. The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful in introducing attractions and restaurants. The breakfast is also very good. You can have breakfast facing the sea. The service staff is also very friendly. The location of the hotel is very convenient. It is right at the entrance to the city. It is very convenient to walk to the ancient city in two steps. If you drive there, be sure to pay attention to the hotel entrance so as not to miss it. If you miss it, you will need to make a long circle to get back to the hotel entrance because it is a one-way street. It's a very good hotel and I left a lot of good memories."

"Aside from taking a taxi from the station, it cost 15 euros. It's not in town, but at the foot of the mountain. Breakfast was simple, but okay. There's a walking trail nearby that takes a few minutes to reach a small beach; here are a few photos I snapped. It's best to take the cable car to the mountaintop theater 🚠, otherwise climbing is quite tiring; it took me 40 minutes to walk 2.1km. The Chinese restaurant where the photos were taken is less than 100 meters from the cable car station, but it was closed."

"First of all, I am satisfied with the location and lobby of this hotel. The sanitation is also very clean! But what I can't accept is that the bathroom in the classic room I booked is completely different from the one I stayed in! The shower head was broken and was not replaced until the next day! And the room is very small! I feel itchy under the quilt! The air conditioner was terrible and too loud to sleep with it on! You can't even open the window because outside is someone else's balcony! It's really too much to pay more than 1,000 RMB a night for one person to stay in such a room! The mattress was very uncomfortable, it was a box spring from decades ago! I am so disappointed about this! When I checked in, I asked the front desk if drinking water was free and they said it was free, but when I checked out, I had to pay 2.5 euros per bottle of water! Although I can take a special car to the beach for 5 euros, it doesn't make me trust this hotel again! The breakfast was terrible! A lot of the fruit is bad!"

"We are just back from a lovely break on the seafront below Taormina, This is a beautiful boutique hotel with a small number of rooms that makes it feel so intimate and cosy.......and ensures a friendly and cheerful ambience. We had a mountain room view which was spacious and well decorated. Unfortunately just 8 weeks prior to our visit the area was hit by a hurricane, the hotel's beach bar is no longer in place and there does seem to be great activity here and in adjoining properties to rebuild in time for the summer season. The breakfast is lovely and substantial, and though we didn't take dinner during our stay the limited menu offered some good meals. The atrium bar is a lovely place to enjoy a drink before going to bed. The pool looked great and would no doubt be well patronised on warmer days. We loved our stay here - getting to Taormina is pretty straightforward with a reliable public bus schedule taking you to the city gates in 5-10 minutes and at a very reasonable 2 Euro fare. The promenade is lovely for an evening stroll and there's a few good family run restaurants as you get nearer to Lettojanni. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable and memorable stay, should we ever be fortunte enough to visit this lovely part of Sicily again then we will definitely be booking this hotel again. Thank you to all the hard working and friendly staff"

"Amazing hotel in a beautiful location! The staff were wonderful, the beach was fantastic, and the breakfast was excellent. I would definitely rate this as a 5-star hotel rather than a 4-star. The only downside was the noise early in the morning and late in the evening, as our room was located above the restaurant. Another small issue was that some guests reserved the front-row beach loungers by leaving their towels on them for hours without actually using them. As a result, we had to stay in the second row even though many of the front loungers remained empty. Only after several hours were we able to move closer. I think the hotel should introduce a policy similar to those at many other resorts: if a sunbed is left unattended for more than 20 minutes, the towels should be removed by the staff. This would make the experience fairer for all guests. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily return"

"I recommend this wonderful hotel to anyone who loves luxury stays. We escaped a fake 5-star hotel on the bay of Taormina and took refuge in this oasis of luxury and well-being. The staff was fantastic and the cleanliness was impeccable. The food was exquisite; the restaurant was Michelin-starred. This was our first experience in Sicily, and I must say, Taormina is truly magical. Come and discover this hotel, you'll fall in love; it was also the location for the TV series "The White Lotus." Absolute luxury, a top-notch hotel!"

"Firstly, I cannot sufficiently elucidate the importance and impact of the hotel's greatest asset: the staff and their unending passion for service. When they ask if everything is ok, it is not rehearsed or fake and rings of true care. Marco the sommelier in the restaurant and, quite frankly everyone we engaged with at the restaurant on the dinner of the 4th of May, was a consummate professional with true pride in what the team could offer. The recommendations we received were on the mark. Dinner was a masterclass in delivering faultlessness execution, both in service and culinary delights. The food struck a fine balance of flavours, bringing tradition and the best of local produce to a modern reality, all framed by the unique panorama. The hotel overall could not be better located, it is brilliantly kept, extremely clean with an unerring attention to detail. I could not find fault, and if you read my previous reviews of similar caliber hotels.... I am not shy at voicing potential improvements. The room (junior suite) was spacious, well appointed, with a delightful balcony over the pool, enabling optimal enjoyment of the signature view. Housekeeping was particularly to be lauded. Luxury is not a formula, it is provided by true service, care, attention to detail and a touch of the intangible "something special". Grand Hotel Timeo and their staff delivers in spades. My humble congratulations."

You can see the ancient Greek theater on the top floor, and it is only a 1-minute walk to the central street of the ancient city. The room facilities are modern and generally superior rooms are relatively small and suitable for one person. You can see the sunrise from the balcony room."

"Our stay at Villa Sant’Andrea was exceptional from start to finish. The service was consistently warm, attentive, and professional throughout our visit. We especially enjoyed the stunning views, a fantastic dinner at Brizza, and relaxing days at the Beach Club. The activities were also a highlight, particularly the Negroni masterclass, the boat tour, and the yoga sessions. I drove up from the foot of the mountain thinking that the hotel I booked was very high up in the mountain, but it turned out to be in the center. It was very convenient to go everywhere. It's a beautiful place and you can take pictures in any way you want. It is worth recommending!"

"Taormina is the true way to experience Sicily. If I had to choose only one city for a relaxing vacation in Italy, it would have to be Taormina. 👍 This town, made famous by the movie "White Lotus Resort," fulfilled my every imagination. The sea and streetscapes are simply breathtaking. I booked Eurostar flights from Palermo to Taormina, and I have to say it was the right choice! The cliff-top hotel is breathtakingly beautiful. The room has a private balcony, and the view overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and pool is truly a welcome relief from the travel. The breakfast was just as plentiful as the Eurostar experience, with sweet fruit and delicious smoothies. Watching the pigeons on the terrace while enjoying breakfast was truly relaxing. The only downside was the old hairdryer, which I think is a common problem with European hotels. Could Dyson sponsor it, hahahaha. 😄 PS: The hotel is very close to Piazza 9 degli Abril and the ancient Greek theater. The town is wonderful to explore and has a variety of delicious food. Taormina is definitely the best city in southern Italy!"

The service and staff are pleasant. Of course some small flaws, the railway line and perhaps ultimately a little lack of charm but it remains a good place."
