Baia Taormina ★★★★
"It is my second visit at Baia Taormina and this time I decided to take a short break with my bestie. We received a very warm welcome from one of the hotel staff Rosario, he even remember what was my favorite cocktail. Our room was spectacular with a magnificent seaview. I was speechless watching the sunrise. We had the great opportunity to meet the General Manager Pier Paolo, he does an amazing job running the hotel, everything was perfect. The hotel has all it needs to provide the best service to the guests. We took a couple of times the bus shuttle the hotel provides to go to Taormina. Very well organised We are more than happy of our stay at baia Taormina and will certainly be back next year. Thank you to the amazing staff."
Excelsior Palace Hotel ★★★★
"After exiting the Taormina bus terminal, walk through the entire old town; the hotel is 50 meters to the left after exiting the Catania city gate. The hotel is located in a palace building; the rooms have balconies with excellent views. Breakfast is plentiful, and the front desk staff are very welcoming."
Hotel Continental ★★★
"The hotel is very good overall. It is very convenient to go to the main street from the garden. The rooftop is particularly good. When I went there, the weather was very good to see the Aitna volcano and the sea view. It was really super cool. The service staff was very nice. I saw that I arrived early and sent me an espresso coffee to see the scenery in the rooftop garden. With an empty room, I was allowed to stay early, thank you very much."
Belduomo ★★★
"Loved my room and Taormina, the perfumes were strong though"
Hotel Condor ★★★
"Hotel was located on top of hill. Very comfortable and clean. Convenient location. Not a far walk from the shopping center and there’s a cable car to go down to the beach."
Il Piccolo Giardino GH ★★★
"The location is great and the structure has great potential, however the cleaning is not well taken care of, especially in the common areas, and the breakfast is barely adequate. The pool area is decidedly unkempt and dirty, despite the exceptional view and location. It can certainly be improved with a few adjustments, cleaning and a bit of furniture or characteristic elements."
Hotel Villa Paradiso ★★★★
"There are few hotels to choose from in Taormina during the off-season. We finally chose this hotel. We didn't expect a good attitude, but it gave us a very good experience after checking in. The scenery here is really great. You can see the volcano directly from the room and the restaurant. The hotel's housekeeper is also very nice. He helped coordinate taxis and let us choose a hotel that uses public transportation, which is a lot more convenient."
A' Coffa ★★★★
"Excellent stay! Right in the middle of the main pedestrian road the location couldn’t be any better. Facilities are modern, great bathroom, very comfy bed! Breakfast is Italian but there’s a fantastic cannoli bakery across from the hotel. The street noise blends in to a hum and is very bearable. We had the suite which is road facing. Definitely worth it"
Hotel Bel Soggiorno ★★★
"我本身所預訂的房型是帶有露台的房間,但去到被告知房間已滿,突然安排其他房間,景觀不佳,位於酒店最下層,有很多植物阻擋視線,看不到整個海景。房間內的水壓很弱,wifi 一到夜晚就完全收不到。早上本應11時退房,但10.30已經有人在敲門催促我們退房。 該酒店的早餐不錯,餐廳位置景觀很好,適宜打卡。但除此之外,不建議入住。 The room type I booked was a room with a terrace, but when I arrived I was told that the room was full and other rooms were suddenly arranged. The view was not good and it was located on the lowest floor of the hotel. There were many plants blocking the view and I could not see the entire sea view. The water pressure in the room was very weak and the wifi was completely unavailable at night. We were supposed to check out at 11 o'clock in the morning, but at 10.30 there was already someone knocking on the door urging us to check out. The hotel's breakfast is good, and the restaurant's location has a great view, making it a good place to check in. But other than that, it is not recommended to stay."

Hotel Metropole Taormina
"We had the best time. Lucia was amazing as all the staff were. The hotel was clean, and service was beyond expectations. The staff assisted with reservations and offered recommendations when asked. The hotel is centrally located and the view was spectacular. We will definitely go Back there when we are in Taormina again."
Palazzo Vecchio Taormina
"There was no sunshine on the first day, so I didn’t feel anything. It was not until the sun came out on the second day that I realized the beauty of the room. The hotel service is good, breakfast is ordered and the quality is good. But dinner must be booked in advance, otherwise you won’t be able to eat it. The drinks bar is free but there is no coffee machine. The bathroom facilities and size are good 👍 and it is comfortable to use. If you are an elderly or disabled person, please note that the hotel is in the old town and cars cannot enter. You have to climb a high flight of stairs to get to the hotel. The staff will help you carry your luggage, so don't worry."
Grand Hotel San Pietro Taormina
"We stayed in early July and were deeply disappointed by what is marketed (and priced) as a 5-star hotel. While the views over the bay are undeniably beautiful, the overall experience was far below expectations. The building is visibly outdated, with only partial renovations. Many areas — including the gym and even the elevator (which has guests’ names scratched into the walls) — feel neglected and unluxurious. Our first room was facing the main coastal road and had no effective sound insulation. It literally felt like trucks were driving through the room. The issue was initially dismissed by staff, but after some pressure, we were moved to a quieter room — which we appreciated. Service, unfortunately, was poor across the board: – The pool bar refused service at 17:45, even though it closes at 18:00. Staff laughed when questioned. – Pool staff watched us move sunbeds and parasols without offering help. – The shuttle service was unreliable and disorganized. – The gym is in bad shape, with peeling paint, rusty machines, and no glasses for the water jug. – Breakfast included a surcharge for fried eggs— something I’ve never seen in any high-end hotel. The atmosphere was also less than relaxing, with a very mixed guest group, including loud and inconsiderate behavior from some. Staff made no effort to uphold a peaceful or premium environment. This hotel simply does not deliver on its promise. A beautiful view alone cannot justify poor service, outdated facilities, and an unrefined experience."
San Domenico Palace, Taormina, A Four Seasons Hotel
"It was a dream come true. Excellent in every way and exceeded our expectations. The location, the view, the staff have been extremely accommodating and friendly. "
Bay Palace Mazzarò
"We stayed only one night in this hotel without using the services. We had a great time, the staff was kind, courteous and helpful. Clean, spacious rooms with every comfort. Breakfast with little choice but quality (especially the 2 cakes we found). A splendid view from both our room and the terrace for breakfast. The only flaw was the parking unfortunately both in terms of space, number and price."
Hotel Isola Bella
"Lovely hotel right in the waterside, restaurant was a bit dated but still pleasant"
Hotel Villa Sirina
"Breakfast service A female employee is very enthusiastic, she hums and is happy to do things."
Hotel Villa Taormina
"Staff members were very helpful and nice."
B&B Sicily in Love
"A very lovely property, nestled in a tranquil setting: we spent a wonderful weekend relaxing in the silence that surrounds the property, perfect for unwinding from the daily grind. The spa is very pleasant, well-maintained, and ideal for indulging in a few hours of pure well-being. The breakfast room is also excellent, bright and with a truly breathtaking view of Her Majesty Mount Etna, making waking up even more special. The staff was always friendly, helpful, and attentive, ready to accommodate every request with a smile. Overall, it was a very positive experience that we recommend to anyone seeking relaxation, comfort, and a welcoming atmosphere."
Hotel Caparena
"We are only now reading the reviews from 2019 and we have to conclude that nothing has changed, conclusion: you should not go in May, because then they are only busy for the guests of the high season. Upon arrival on Thursday we were told that the beach was not accessible due to a storm the day before .... 24 hours later we found out that this was possible for an exclusive party from which hotel guests were "of course" excluded. That same evening there was also another party in the lobby, which put the (helpful) staff under such pressure that the hotel guests were neglected. And, oh yes; 1) the bathroom smelled like "the drain sign" 2) the coffee is still undrinkable 3) the breakfast is fine 4) the restaurant staff will run off with your plate while you are still enjoying a delicious sauce on your plate 5) the rooms are quite OK 6) the hotel is stuck somewhere in the 70s, nothing wrong with me, but maintenance is part of it!"

Taormina Palace Hotel
"The room is too close to the road. It feels like the cars on the road are about to turn into the room."
