Best Hotels in Taormina

The room is slightly old, but the bed is very comfortable, the balcony has an invincible sea view, and the balcony door is open at night to listen to the waves against the moonlight to sleep very comfortable, so that you can instantly open the seaside holiday mode. The hotel and room are actually very clean, and one star is missing because there is a stain on the curtains like blood. Breakfast is quite rich compared to other local hotels. A few minutes walk from isola bella. The bus stop is at the door, and it is very convenient to go directly to other places and airports. The hotel also has a free bus to the town center, but the shifts and seats are limited. Walking is a bit dangerous because there is no sidewalk on the mountain and there is a motorway. The hotel staff is very patient and explain the problems in detail.

The hotel is very good, the swimming pool is very good, the breakfast is rich, the scenery is very good

We’ve been to Taormina on two previous occasions, stopping at the nearby Ariston Hotel both times. No complaints about the Ariston. However, due to matters financial, we switched to the TPH, which was a bit of a gamble. This could have gone all wrong……but it didn’t. We loved it! If you’ve read some of the other reviews, you’ll get the picture quite well, the TPH could use a good decorater, however, it’s cosmetic, and caused us no problems at all. The hotel is smaller and quieter than the Ariston , and has an olde worlde charm, with its marble staircase, inlaid doors, chandeliers and furniture from a bye gone era. The pool area, although busy at times, was quiet and well run by the staff, a great place to enjoy the Sicilian sun, and cool off! The breakfasts were taken by the pool, nice touch, and there was plenty of variety on offer and we really enjoyed that. The view from there, and our second floor balcony, was unbeatable. The wifi in our room worked fine, all the time. However, the massive selling point that really made our time there so marvellous, was none of the above; it was the staff! From the quietly confident and helpful desk staff, to the welcoming and engaging catering/breakfast/pool bar staff, the maintenance man, to the room cleaners, they were awesome! If you need a place in Taormina that is central, clean, with great views, great food and fantastic staff, I have no hesitation in recommending theTaormina Park Hotel. Just don’t book it during the first two weeks of July, ‘cause we’re going back next year! Bravo TPH, you were amazing 🤩

Taormina is a real Sicilian gem overlooking the breath-taking coast line and the magnificent volcano Etna. Like every touristic top destinations also in Taormina the amount of hotels and B&B it’s simply impressive and the quality of the service is not always comparable to the hotel rates. I found this hotel a great compromise between reasonable price, nice bedrooms, great location and stunning view. What makes a difference in my opinion tho is the front desk staff together with their colleagues of the breakfast team and all the other friendly and serious pro I met during my stay in this hotel. As a skilled traveller and tour operator with thousands night spent in hotels in the last 25 years I’d say that there are few minor details I’d change or fine tune to be a full 4 stars but a big shoutout to Annalisa, Giovanni, Nicoletta and all the other top staff members - sorry guys I don’t remember all the names but you were all at the top. I found Annalisa and the colleagues very professional, kind, ready to give the right suggestions, expert and always friendly. As a former hotel manager I would have been very happy to work with them, you all really made a difference See you soon. Grazie 🙏🏼

I arrived at the hotel late and was directed to my room. 5 minutes later the bedroom phone rang. I answered and it was Antonio from reception saying that although the restaurant had closed, they had prepared a plate of food for me! Off I went to be presented with a gorgeous plate of various foods including pizza, chicken brest, fish, sald, eggs. Delicious and excellent service. Throught my week long stay, the staff were very courteous and supplied great service. The food was delicious and varied. At breakfast, there was a great deal of choice from cereals and yoghurts to eggs, cheese, ham and breads. Fruit juice and water was available along with coffees and tea. The hotel itself is Sicilian in style, clean and confortable (especially the bed). It sits adjacent to the cable car which takes you up into Taormina. I was a bit dubious about going on it at first because I was very nervous but I actually enjoyed the journey (I went on it three times to see the quaint town of Taormina). This preetty town has loads of history and I highly recommend the gardens and the ancient theatre. As a female solo traveller, there were no issues - Sicilians are the friendliest of people - and I was totally comfortable sitting in a bar sampling one of the local wines and dining by myself. Villa hotel Bianca is the ideal place from which to explore. Isola Bella is a few hundred metres up the road. I did it early in the morning but be aware that there are 140 steps down, which means 140 steps back up! Luckilly, there is a bar opposite where you can grab something to quench the inevitable thirst! A bit further down the bay, you can hire a boat - Davide was the skipper when I went. It was amazing and he anchors the boat so you can jump in for a swim. A beautiful part of the world.#I also ventured to Siracusa and Ortigia where you can see both Apollo's Temple and Athena's Temple (now a cathedral). I had lunch in Ortigia, which was fantastic. All in all, this hotel was perfect. Antonio on reception was fabulous, along with the whole staff and it is a great location, whether you want to lounge around on the beaches or whether you want to go further afield to explore the surrounding areas. Also, you can easuily get to Messina from here to get the ferry across to Calabria. I would definitely go back to this hotel. Thank you Hotel Billa Bianca.

We got married at the Villa Schuler in August 2022 and it was truly brilliant!! We came over from England and had a Civil Ceremony at the Palazzo Di Santo Stefano, which was beautiful. Us and all of our guests stayed at the Hotel and they were absolutely fantastic for the entire duration of our 5 night stay and made our Wedding Reception perfect for us! From the moment we arrived, Gerhard, Christine, Claudia and all of the staff made us feel extremely welcome, at ease, and so special as they understood how big a trip this was for us! They worked alongside us to ensure we had the best possible Wedding; we had a drinks reception, live music and canapes in their lovely, secluded garden, then a delicious Sicilian wedding dinner, drinks and dancing with a DJ on the roof terrace - which they made look really stunning!! Ours was their biggest event so far this year with 40 weddings guests and they seemed so proud and happy to be hosting; nothing was stressful for us and they were natural hosts. On every aspect, Gerhard, Claudia and the team went over and above! The level of service from all of the staff is exceptional, and the hotel has retained such a lovely warm, traditional, family feel. We had one of the top floor suites with a balcony and sun loungers, it was a comfortable, fantastic room with an excellent sea view! I can highly recommend the Hotel Villa Schuler for both a Holiday and a Wedding - we definitely made the right decision : ) I cannot fault anything. All of our families and friends loved the hotel and everything about the Wedding and many want to return. Myself and my husband are going to revisit to celebrate our first anniversary in August 2023 and we can't wait!! Thank you to everybody involved and we look forward to seeing you again.

Ottima posizione della struttura, a due passi dalla funivia e a poche centinaia di metri dalla scalinata di Isola Bella. Parcheggio comodo (anche se in una strada stretta) con un costo extra. Camera pulita e accogliente, personale molto cordiale

The hotel has been in existence for 119 years. The service is very good. The location of the hotel is also good. It is just at the entrance of the most prosperous area on the mountain. It is also close to the ”Internet celebrity” four seasons. It has an independent garden area and swimming pool. The price is very high. The room is clean The product quality is also very good. The only fly in the ointment is that the facilities and room types are slightly flawed, but as a century-old hotel, I am already very satisfied. Generally speaking, it is highly recommended!

We loved the location of the hotel. We stayed 4 days and used it as our home as we e plowed the area. We did a city tour, a day of sailing and wine tasting at Barone di Villa Grande. It was raining one day so did not take in Mt Etnea. I definitely have to give a shout out to the concierge Sarah. She is FANTASTIC. She provided a wealth of information and booked events. It was my husbands birthday and she arranged a great surprise for him. the hotel is beautiful and the staff are friendly; however, she made our experience over the top. We totally recommend staying at NH,

The ocean view is really heartfelt. To get to the city center, you have to walk and then take the cable car. Personally think the hotel is fine, but just a little old. The main reason is that the price is not good. Sorry for the price of 2000 nights (late October, out of high season). Lower than expected. Reasonable price 1200.
