"Fantastic stay! The hotel is conveniently located and incredibly close to the train station. The staff were very kind and provided excellent service. To top it off, the breakfast spread was amazing with plenty of options. Highly recommended."

"We booked at Matterhorn Inn but was told to go to their sister hotel down the road, Porta Cervino. It’s termed as an upgrade since Porta is a 4 star hotel but would appreciate being informed earlier and not on the spot. Matterhorn Inn is right opposite the station but Porta is a 5-10 min walk away"

"Beautiful quiet hotel on the edge of Tahch and nir 5 minutes walk from the train station. Rooms clean and ordened and breakfast ok.Personal very friendly. The shower gel is a little narrowly measured. Water cookers in the room were great."

"A basic but clean hotel very conveniently situated within walking distance of the train station. Parking is available at a cost, and as this is the closest that you can drive to Zermatt there is plenty of parking available, if the hotel's is full. The rooms are clean but basic and all have a terrace. There was small kitchenette however, no equipment was provided except for glasses and mugs. The buffet breakfast was simple, and as this hotel does not have a restaurant we ate at it's sister hotel, Tascherhof, and the meal there was very nice. I wouldn't not stay here again, but would perhaps try the Taschehof in preference."

"!!****** HOUSE‼︎ THE ASIAN WERE NOT WELCOMED HERE. I stayed at this hotel for a night with my husband. I needed to join in a conference at the early morning so took a seat at sofa at the lobby. The man showed up a hour later and scolded me not to use the facilities in the hotel in the morning (I was just staying in the lobby! Is that a problem?). Why does the person who stayed in this hotel not allow me to use the facilities (like sitting on the sofa)?" Afterwards he told me I can use the lobby only on the opening time. The Staff at the front desk just gave us a key and told the place of breakfast when we were checking in. How we can know the opening time of the reception without given any information on the information counter????? There was no expect that I couldn't use the lobby while I'm staying. Of course never experienced that ever. Some people mentioned about "friendly staff" but I've NEVER found ”Friendly” staff here. The man acted rudely to us even after this "incident "but He smilely to answer with eyecontact to the when the other " color" people when they're out of the morning buffet place. OF COURSE we weren't said nothing when we were out but " bye" (without smile and eyecontact)after my husband said Thank you to him. May be they changed their attitude depends on people who have the same pigments or not.What a shameful and pity ******. This made our stay at Zermatt very awful. P.S. About the facility ,There were hairs on the bed from an unknown person.　And In the midnght the nock on the door and creepy sounds continuiously are heard. I wrote what I experienced exactly without exaggeration."
