"Excellent destination full of culture, history, delicious food and relaxing vibes. My partner and I have spent our one-week honeymoon in this hotel and we could not be happier. Among banana plantations and with stunning views to the Atlantic, this beautiful hotel has everything you need to switch off and relax. We specially recommend the swimming pool and spa area, the delicious breakfast, the restaurant for romantic dinners, the friendly and familiar staff, and the beautiful building, its rooms and its art: it's like living in a museum. It's very well located and you have tons of hikes, beaches and restaurants close by."

"The hotel was gorgeous, with many interesting pieces of art and furniture. The location was exactly as described, set among banana plantations, but the lovely surprise was that it was still within a few strides of the local town (which was also gorgeous). The pool was quiet and secluded - the perfect place to while away an afternoon. The restaurant offered some unique dishes - I booked half-board and dined there every night. My room was a premium double, situation on the ground floor. I found it delightfully quirky, if a little dark as set among a gorgeous sub-tropical garden full of palms etc. I plan to rebook for next year; I noted that several of my fellow guests were on return stays. Cleanliness and service were second to none."
