This is a hotel in Chiyoda-ku. I have a special impression of this area because I remember watching a Japanese variety show (”The Moonlight Night is Still Young”) and in the rich people joke, Chiyoda-ku is actually the area with the highest annual income per capita in Tokyo according to the program team's survey at that time. I digress.
Because it was my first time to go to Tokyo, and I had to go to Tokyo Dome to watch a concert, I was afraid that it would be troublesome to take the train if I came back too late at night, so I chose this place. Even if I had to walk back from Tokyo Dome in special circumstances, it would only be a 30-minute walk. Later on the way back, I found that it was only about a 15-minute walk to Akihabara. Because I originally wanted to book a Marriott brand to make it up to the same level, but I accidentally searched for this very typical Japanese-style hotel, and the budget was similar, so I chose this place.
It is absolutely quiet. There are not many rooms in the entire hotel, and each room is more than 50 square meters, which is a very comfortable living space in downtown Tokyo. All kinds of facilities and equipment are available. The bathtub is very large and can fit two people. I don't know if Tokyo lacks water. If I really fill it with water, I feel that it is a bit wasteful, so I only took a bath once. It was very refreshing, especially after walking 20,000 steps every day in the city.
I saw three service staff in a few days, but the arrangement was just orderly. The Japanese bento for breakfast was really delicious. Because I stayed for three days and I like to sleep in, I missed it in the first few days. After checking out on the last day, they also reserved a special one for me to take away. After opening it at the airport, I found that it was really rich, with chicken nuggets, fish, fried food, etc., which was very delicious. If I ate properly in the hotel every day, I would be very happy. I would like to say thank you for their kindness here.
The hotel provides various toiletries, bath products, skin care sets, etc. Basically, you don't need to prepare your own toiletries. There are also free snacks and drinks such as tea bags, coffee, chocolate, etc. in the room. In short, it was a very good stay experience. If you want to experience privacy and quietness, traditional Japanese decoration, and don't want to live in the same old decoration style of chain brand hotels, and have certain requirements for living space and quality, and still want to live in the center of Tokyo, you can choose this place. In addition, the bedding is also very comfortable to sleep in.
p.s.: There is also a signature of a Japanese football player at the front desk of the store. I searched it and it seems to be quite famous. I think if I have the chance next time, I will still consider staying here again.

It’s just wonderful to stay in ascott. It is just opposite to otemachi station (find exit C9). Best of all, it has a 24 hour gym, suitable for gym goers / and more importantly business travel.
The room is bigger than most ordinary rooms in Tokyo, with art of state facilities. The staff here are attention, and helpful.
Do consider if you have the extra budget 😊

Very detailed info about the place were provided to us before we check-in. It answers all your queries without you having to ask. The space is big enough for two person. Love that their bathroom has a clothes drying function, and they provided alot of hangers! The location is super convenient and walkable distance to Keisei Ueno station. The only downside is the bed is quite narrow and hard. But I will definitely come back again.

As usual, we had a good stay here. The hotel is well positioned and well staffed. Check in and check out are quick and questions are answered promptly. All staff have a good understanding of English and are able to help.
Rooms are comfortable and clean and the provisions in the room are great - apart from not offering a coffee! Fortunately, the 7-eleven downstairs is able to provide this easily. Rooms are small and one of you, if staying as a couple, will be positioned against the wall which is the reason for not giving a 5 on the rooms.

Outstanding
GGuest UserI am a book lover myself, and came to stay here for 2 nights in March a week before Easter, mainly for the library theme and book selection. The hotel itself, the book lounge, and the book libraries on each floor was all very very good. However, upon my checking in, it was obvious that the male receptionist on the left pay more attention to Caucasian guests rather than me (an Asian solo female traveller). I had the impression they just wanted to get rid of me asap, and then served the Caucasian guests behind me.
During the whole of my check in process, no one mentioned anything about the special libraries on each floor, no one told me about the free beverages offered “at the far end corner for the reception desk”, and definitely no one mentioned anything about he QRcode library tour!!! I stayed for two nights and it was only after the first night (when I read the books inside my room that I knew of ANY of the services I mentioned above). Of course one may say I could read all those on the signage’s provided in the property. But then…
Upon walking into the reception desk the next day, I did hear the same male receptionist explained in great detail (everything I mentioned above)in English to other Caucasian guests.
I like the library premise of the property, the books selections were great, exhibition on the first floor was quite nice, however, I am not sure if I would stay for a second time, knowing how they treated solo female Asian guest whom they assumed was not civilised enough (that was my impression) to deserve a thorough introduction about this lovely bookish hotel from them. Quite disappointed to be frank, especially knowing how much history this hotel has included!!
JJoyceLocation is great -5 mins walk from station. Rooms are decent size for Jap standard and hotel is modern and classy, doesn’t feel dated. No need to join the breakfast at hotel as lots of options nearby. 7/11 attached and Starbucks and cafes and shops within 2 mins walking distance. Sawamura ( turn right at Starbucks) has yummy bread and pastries and there is a line queuing up for lunch every day before 11.
GGuest UserI couldn't have been more pleased with my experience. The hotel was impeccably clean and well-maintained, which made for a very comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met. The amenities were fantastic, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a tidy and welcoming place to stay!
GGuest UserI would definitely return to this hotel again. The staff was very attentive and the location is fantastic. The room we had stayed in was newly renovated and the interior design was very user friendly. The breakfast at the premier lounge was amazing.
LloobenjaminExcellent service staff especially Miss Fujita mending the checkin counter. She has been very friendly, helpful by providing us with a lot of information, explained in detail about the hotel facilities and even recommended us to some site seeing locations in Asakusa. Hotel is in a very strategic location within the heart of Asakusa, accessible by 2 metro line, with great 7-11 just a few steps away from the hotel. Definitely going to repeat our stay there in the future.
SSALLESWe had a nice stay at Washington Hotel Akihabara. The hotel is well located, nearby metro lines and local trains which allow us to easily move around Tokyo. Although the room is small, it is well designed and it big enough for few nights. The bed is not very large but comfortable. We managed to sleep with our 2 yo kid. You can also choose between soft or hard pillow. The bathroom was quite big with a nice bathtub. Around the hotel, you have plenty of restaurant and convenient stores. The buffet breakfast was great and everything we try tastes really good ! There is a large choice between Japanese food and wester food. Finally, there is a laundry area which was really convenient.
SSharon Tang (Sharon 852)It was fine, quite expensive for what seems like a hotel for business travellers. It is a good location, very close to the eating street. The lobby area is quite small, only a couple of chairs and a table, so can't really hang out there, which surprised me for what I paid for. The room is clean, but again quite small, it was long in length and narrow. But it did come with a shower room, and in addition had an onsen room on the top floor which was quite nice.
AAnonymous Useri booked the triple room as it was the only room left. there was space for only 1 large luggage - the room was a little old but bed and duvet surprisingly comfy. onsen was small so it got a little crowded as the hotel was full that night. location was great - tho the nearest ikebukuro stn exit with lift, C9 (vs 20b), is a little further from the station. excellent authentic chinese food nearby (豪妈 on google maps), and a family mart just across the street. great hotel!
GGuest UserI love the location it’s super convenient. Staff are super polite and smiley.
Service wise is not good too many strange rules firstly, there is no phone in the room. In case u need one it’s near the elevator on each floor to speak to the staff.
The twin bed are way too big for us 2/3 of the room. I can’t even open my suitcase easily.
Only one elevator in this 14 storeys hotel right next to their emergency stairways. There is a sign saying if you are in a rush please use the stairways but we were on the higher floor and it’s so cold February a few degrees Celsius ???? Well no thanks I shall wait patiently then……
No daily cleaning service we stayed 5 nights the hotel offered one time cleaning during our stay. All the dirty linens and garbage have to be placed outside your door by 10am if new towels needed. Strangely one bottle complimentary water was given to 2 guests daily together in a bag of towels and slippers toothbrush garbage bags. Only one washing machine ¥600 35mins, dryer ¥300 60mins available (cashless payment only) Onsen too small and poor facilities.
