"How does a restaurant get Starred by Michelin when its entire ala carte menu consists of 3 fish and 1 quasi meat alternatives? Lovely space, nice staff but oh so slow and inconsistent service. Extremely long waits between courses. Gimmicky amuse bouches can not overcome the lack of entree choices. Should guests be expected to reach to pour more water? Wine List seems to think Bio ( organic) grown wines are now best and preferred by customers. Had 3 meals in unstarred Paris restaurants such as Voltaire and Recaimer that were superior to this 1*."

Hôtel Restaurant la Maison

"We spent a night at La Maison while traveling the Côte de Granit Rose on the GR34. What can I say, except that the name of this hotel sticks to him, it’s his identity. You feel good there as soon as you walk through the door. The owners have made it a cocoon, with a neat and warm decor. And personalized, because the first names are everywhere, for some coming from family history: the name of the rooms, in the frames, the napkin rings and of course, on the Breton bowls. The hotel is located 10 minutes from the beaches and the port of Trébeurden. The restaurant lived up to our expectations, whether for dinner or breakfast. This one was incredible, with many local homemade products (I would give a lot to have the recipe for banana bread which allowed me to last a large part of my morning of walking 😉). The welcome was extremely warm. As Antoine de Saint Exupéry said in "The Little Prince", which is present throughout the restaurant: "Make your life a dream, and a dream, a reality." I hope the guests touch their dreams with their fingertips with this place.."
