"Had a good one night stay here on the way to the Menalon trail. Loved Tripoli - good shops and restaurants and this hotel is right in the middle of town. Good for food shopping nearby - I bought some almonds and couldn't find any as good in other times. The hotel is a bit dated but it's friendly and good for the price."

Nadia, our host, nourished us with a delicious variety of home-cooked Greek meals. The rooms were spacious, and comfortable, and offered stunning views of the mountains. Nadia and Chris were generous, easy-going, and incredibly hospitable, making us feel like we had become part of a warm and nurturing Greek family.""

"Although this hotel is in pretty much original condition, it is a landmark, perfectly located with balcony rooms overlooking the big town square, the rooms are clean, the staff are great, there's parking onsite and it's a budget price range. Great for a few nights if you're wanting to explore Tripoli and the surrounding area. Wonderful to sit out the front in the evenings, with a brand new bar operating this year, and enjoy a drink and a meal whilst watching the locals going about their daily life."

We would stay here again in a heartbeat. We only stayed one night, but we would love to stay for three nights next time so we can explore the local area. The farewell breakfast was a highlight - as was the lovely little Kokoni dog, who stole our hearts!"

"Quaint place for getting away from it all. The mountains reminded me of the Smokey Mountains. It was all green with a couple sprinklings of small villages out in the distance. That's it. All nature. Quiet. It's quite a large spread but with only 12 rooms. Everyone faces the mountains and has either a deck or patio to enjoy the outdoor scenery. There is a good spread of food for breakfast but you can also order other food. Dinners are laid back and never in a hurry. The cook will inform you what is available that, even though there is a menu. In the meantime, you can have a drink and enjoy the view while she prepares the meal. They'll let you know when it's ready. That's the kind of casual family owned business it is. I placed our reservation through ******* and it was hard to find. ******* only listed Vlachokerasia as the address which is actually the name of the village. You have to watch for signs posted on the buildings to find the hotel. Eventually you get on a one lane asphalt road and think you're heading out in country but then it pops up. We had to ask the locals for directions. Some boys biked to the road we needed to find. As we thanked them, one said, "We hope you like our little village." Yes, we did. We'll always remember that line. We'll always remember this hotel and village because it was so unique."
