"This beautiful hotel set in amazingly kept grounds, overlooks Troon golf course. In brief, it was a joy and pleasure to stay there. The staff were all excellent and should be commended. I felt Lyn at breakfast time deserved a special mention but the reception staff were also especially good. Rooms were huge, clean and very impressive. Food was excellent and the wine selection was adequate. I really struggled to find fault. There were very small signs of wear on the carpet of a main staircase but this is a real nitpick. I would highly recommend this hotel despite the relatively high rates. Also be aware it is often used by parties of USA Golfers who have no volume control."
