Hotel Trend Jr Uji Ekimae ★★★

"There aren't many hotels in Uji, so this one is quite affordable. It's a 5-minute walk to Uji JR Station and also a 5-minute walk to Uji River and Wado-in Temple. If you want to experience the relaxed pace of Uji, consider staying overnight."

Uji Tea Inn ★★

"I booked a single room with a private bathroom in the tatami room, and it was a great experience. There's a common lounge area where you can make your own tea and coffee. The staff member on duty spoke Chinese when I arrived and gave me lots of recommendations for local food and itineraries. It's also very close to the Nintendo Museum. Luggage storage is free until 4 PM on the day of check-out."

ADD-Hostel Uji Cha-Gan-ju-Tei ★★

"The owner is Chinese, warm and considerate."

Travellersdou Kirinya ★

"The owner is friendly and the facilities are good. Water purifier in the room. Personal lockers are provided, but there is no TV. The advantage is that I only saw the owner when I first greeted him, and even check-out was unmanned. Recommended during the off-season. It is possible to share a 4-person room by yourself. Because it is Uji, the location is a bit out of the way, but it is not far from Kyoto Station."

Tomi-Chaya Japanese Hotel ★★

GUESTHOUSE KYOUTO UJI RIVER I ★★

"The room was very clean and new. The women's room was on the third floor, which was safe and private. The separate bathrooms with wet and dry areas and the Japanese-style layout were excellent. The location was quiet in a residential area, and it was only a 20-minute walk from the attractions, with opportunities to admire local houses along the way. This guesthouse is a safe and reliable choice, and I would definitely stay here again next time."
