I was a little surprised when he came to pick me up and said to me in the lounge, "It's been four years since I last stayed here." I was shown to a room that had been renovated, with double-glazed windows, the selected manufacturer's name for the paper towel case in the toilet, the color of the outlets, the ship-shaped ceiling, etc., and the initial feeling was definitely correct. In addition, the recent article distribution on the web as a ryokan "Kiyonoya" and the article in the Yomiuri Shimbun (Fascinated Fukuoka) with a photo of the proprietress gave me positive power. In terms of hot water, "Chikugogawa Onsen Kiyonoya" was ranked first in the nation in the moist skin category in the 2021 Hot Spring Inn and Hotel General Election.
