"Hotel Schatzmann A travelers dream! My wife and I sojourned into Switzerland and Liechtenstein to savor the joys of the region. Zurich answered the call wonderfully. After a few days in Zurich, we traveled to Liechtenstein. The majestic landscape of Liechtenstein was breathtaking. Matching the majesty of the mountains was Hotel Schatzmann! We were greeted by Anja, and she made us feel so welcome. Our room was beautifully appointed and spacious. Our breakfast was fantastic and filling. We could have happily stayed in our room all day. Hotel Schatzmann is located in Triesen, just ~1.5 miles from Valduz. Anja made sure we had our tourist bus pass for all the public transportation available during our stay. We enjoyed walking to Valduz in the quiet, refreshing, and crisp mountain air. After a day walking around Valduz, returning to our beautiful room was a joy! A fantastic night sleep and a perfect breakfast were a great way to start our next day. Anja and her staff are wonderful hosts."

"Pretty poor experience overall. I'm not familiar with other hotels in the area, but compared to hotels of a similar price/supposed quality elsewhere, this place definitely misses the mark. The rooms are pretty bare bones and dated, scuff marks on the floor, weird holes and marks all over the ceiling...similar to a dingy motel. There is also no a/c, so you have to keep the window open (even when it's cold, the room gets very stuffy)...of course, the window has no screen, so you end up sleeping with dozens of flies and other random little insects. The wellness area also could use some work. One of the 3 sauna rooms is broken, the "gym" consists of a few random, scattered weights and an elliptical machine that looks like it's from the 1980s (for some reason, the gym can only be used until 2pm). Perhaps this hotel is a good choice for families--there is a kid play area and lots of kids around--but I have to imagine there would still be better choices. Also, kid friendly or not, it seems inappropriate for children to be screaming up and down the hallways at 8-9am. Finally, there is a buffet-style breakfast everyday until 10:30am that is nice enough. Included is one of those self-serve coffee machines. On the day of our checkout, my wife had already eaten breakfast and was hanging out in the lobby waiting for our departure bus (I was up in the room still). Around 11am, she went and got a coffee, where she was immediately confronted by an employee telling her that it was against the rules to have coffee after 10:30am and that if anyone found out, "it wouldn't be good." What an absolutely preposterous thing to say to a guest who had just spent about $500 staying at a rundown hotel in need of major repairs/upgrades. At any reasonable accommodation, a self-serve coffee machine would be available at any time, and even if it technically wasn't, confronting a guest about pouring their own cappuccino is beyond the pale. Decent place to stay if you have misbehaved children and very low standards for comfort. Otherwise, I would look elsewhere."

"Before travelling to Liechtenstein, I was only aware of Vaduz and if not for the location of this hostel, I would not even known to visit Schaan - but I am so glad I did! It is easily accessible by bus from the centre of Vaduz, and the view from the hostel is absolutely incredible! There are lockers to leave bags before check-in/after check-out, which made things really easy to walk around without luggage, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was slightly limited, but even just having free coffee in the morning was very welcome. If I ever came back, I'd be happy to stay again."

"The hotel (staff, room and breakfast) is very special and exellent. The service is very polite but absolutely warm. The breakfast itself is an experience: a buffet with many exclusive delicacies. The whole hotel is absolutely clean. And the unbelieveble extra: Liemobil buses are free for hotel guests! We even visited Feldkirh in Austria without any cost. Very big recommendation for this accommodation!"

"The room was very clean, located in Vaduz, within walking distance of the post office and other city center areas. Check-in and check-out were entirely self-service. We arrived in the morning and wanted to store our luggage before exploring, and thankfully the friendly coffee shop staff helped us store it smoothly. We hadn't completed the full registration process, which was a little nerve-wracking, but when we returned in the evening, we used our room card to access the luggage room without any problems. Switzerland and Liechtenstein are very safe, and the people are very courteous. It's best to fill out the breakfast form completely; we didn't know this and filled out only a few items, so we had to rely on bread later. The buffet portion was small, but the breakfast was overall quite good. It would be better if the staff could remind us in advance. In short, the location is convenient, the surrounding scenery is beautiful, and it's worth experiencing. Also, our room had a view of the castle from its balcony."

"Location is in the main (pedestrian) street. Hotel has its own parking places in Zentrum park house. Room has no air-conditioning. Outside it was 28°C and inside 30°C. Plenty of closet space. Good bed. Separate blankets. Shower in a bath. Rather modest breakfast. Vaduz may be worth a stop but I wouldn’t stay there overnight, if I knew what I now do."

"I loved my stay at this hostel! It's so peaceful and tranquil. The hostel itself is very nice with plenty of amenities. 3 course dinner for under £20 in lichenstein is a steal and the free breakfast is so good! A good range of food and drink can't complain, my private room was really nice and spacious with a electric powered outer blind which was cool and my bed was very comfy! The bathroom also was very nice along with a very powerful shower. I loved the eco theme aswell for the entire hostel. I would say however that the plug outlets in the room need improvement or to be made bigger for EU adapters. The usb charger is okay but it is slow. I would also think that having activities in the hostel would literally massively improve the experience by alot! It's missing a social Element and I would feel it would bring out so much more from the hostel. To not be using the field with the goals infront of the hostel to do a fun world cup themed event to me is loosing out on so much potential fun. Please consider thinking about hosting social events at the hostel In the future. All in all it was a fantastic stay and I'm definitely going to be Coming back in the future. Quick shout-out to all the staff for being so helpful and welcoming 🤙"
