"The best hotel in Southern France; I highly recommend booking the package that includes breakfast and dinner. I originally planned to eat in a nearby town, but ended up eating at the hotel because I was too lazy to go out, and à la carte meals are quite expensive. The towns surrounding the hotel are beautiful, with vineyards and horse farms; it's worth staying a couple more days for a relaxing vacation. We mainly traveled from Valensole to Sainte-Croix-Lake, so our one-day stay was a bit rushed. The starry sky at night was beautiful; we drank and stargazed on the rooftop. The spa was just average; not worth paying extra for."

"The staff are 5 stars. The hotel looks almost new, clean, but is not built to last. But the problem is the room. In two it is really small. In couple you can manage but I would be uncomfortable with a colleague. No way to put a portable order and work a little. The worst thing is that we had our dog, we had warned, and that he was gallery to cash his cousin to the ground. Seoul, okay. Two, no. Location is obviously very good for the circuit. Breakfast: little choice."

"We stayed in a studio for 5 nights. The room was very clean, with a comfortable bed and fresh sheets. The air conditioning worked well and kept the room at the perfect temperature. One point to note is that cleaning service isn’t provided for short stays like ours, but it wasn’t a big issue. Highly recommended!"

The only minor drawbacks are the small bathroom with a shower curtain, which isn't up to 4-star standards. "We enjoyed so much our stay Grand Hotel Des Lecques! First of all, they offered us a room upgrade and we stayed in a suite, with a wonderful view and a newly renovated interior. The staff was very helpful and answered any questions. There is plenty of parking space on the property. We enjoyed the very big pool and lounge for drinks. The room was very clean and equipped with a coffee machine and mini bar which we appreciated. Will definitely come back if we're in the area again!"

"To celebrate my partner's birthday, we had already come two years ago. We had a wonderful time. The staff was fantastic, the room was clean and quiet. Everything was perfect! The only slight downside was having to pay for parking, which could easily be included considering the price of the rooms."

"This is a two-star hotel with poor service. They don't give you water unless you ask. You have to carry your luggage yourself. Strange black children freely come and jump in the pool. Transportation is offered at a 100% markup. The breakfast is terrible for 34 euros; they barely give you two eggs. You can't even get a second cappuccino. The entire hotel management got together to make a scene about my bill. A disgusting experience."

"We had a fabulous week at Odalys Great location surrounded by pines and opposite a lovely nature reserve with a lake Lovely pool all kept very clean Super welcoming and very helpful staff Easy cycle down to the village and beach Supermarket and a fantastic fruit and vegetable shop, Joseph’s were 5 minutes walk away This was our third stay and will definitely visit again soon"

"Firstly the bedroom, and the wine tasting were wonderful, the room was beautiful and clean and the wine tasting was great fun. However the pool area and restaurant, the pool area was tired and dirty. There were very few chairs that were not broken, the pool hoover was left out and the wooden decking area around the pool was rotten. The food at lunch was ok, although even at 1pm we were told the kitchen was closed for lunch. We arrived for supper at 8pm, the hotel had been very strict we needed to book supper. The food was inedible, we had tuna and salmon to start, the tuna was a horrible grey colour suggesting it had been frozen and was not fresh and the salmon so acidic it was hard to eat. The main courses were ok, but not good, my lamb was hard and the duck was tasty but cold. Dessert was basically a frozen donut, and my girlfriend found a large piece of gelatine in it - the size of a postage stamp. It was during dessert we saw the two rats, these were not mice, they were large. Very large. Running up and down the steps next to the pool, only 5 metres or so from the restaurant. We mentioned our experience to the staff at reception and at the restaurant. In both instances they were sweet but not able to help."

"We were a long weekend in the hotel facility. The room has everything it needs. Small table and enough closet for clothing. A small balcony with two chairs and small washing spoon. The two beds are ok, they just slip off each other, you need to know. There is no water cooker. The hotel facilities are very extensive, but it is well marked. The breakfast buffet was great and the view on the window is just great. We have had dinner yet tonight. The dinner buffet costs 22.50 per person and is really recommended. Water and wine are available for free. The spa area has come in the years, but the winter pool (there are 5) was good and we were almost always alone the evening before the dinner. The showers and dressing cabins are "appropriate". On the outdoor terraces you have a wonderful view. From time to time a plane has been on landing, but this was not disturbing, but rather interesting to see the big object. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Parking is available on the hotel facility and on the second day you will also know where to park the best to get to the room the fastest way. The price-performance ratio has voted. Thanks to again."

"The hotel is in a great location, next to the pier, and it's very convenient to walk around Frejus. There is a paid roadside parking space opposite, and you can also find free roadside parking a few minutes' walk away (it's probably difficult in the peak season); the front desk service is thoughtful and enthusiastic, the room is spacious, and the bedding is comfortable. I will stay a few more days next time"
