Chateau de Mazan Handwritten Collection ★★★★
"On our arrival, the charm operates Magnificent park, very beautiful swimming pool. This second stay as part of a professional seminar led me to the discovery of a tiny room wedged between the elevator and the stairs (with the noises that go with it), with a dated bathroom with a toilet flush. water not working and no possibility of hanging the shower head (broken hook). The room overlooks the street without double glazing which gives all the pleasure of being woken up very early by the refrigerated delivery trucks or not with the associated noise pollution; we also enjoy the noise of the front door of the outbuilding all night long. Fortunately, some of my colleagues showed me their more qualitative rooms because in my opinion we are not up to the level of the renovation shown in the hotel descriptions and I am still looking for 4 stars. In summary, too expensive versus the service."
Logis Hotel le Blason de Provence ★★★
"I stayed at this hotel/restaurant for 3 nights in june 2025, during a road trip in France. The room was nice, the staff was amazing, as was the food in the restaurant, where I had dinner every evening while staying at the hotel. I can honestly recommend this hotel, when in the region. "
Le Jardin de Mazan ★★★★
"Such a lovely place to stay. You will need a small car to go through the narrow gate into the old town of Mazan but Eric and Agnes will make sure you have a place to park. They are superb hosts who really look after their guests and pay attention to all the details. We loved our large room off the Library and played snooker/pool in the evenings. We adored the relaxing garden with a gloriously warm swimming pool. I was straight in to that within an hour of arrival and we used it every day of our May stay. Dinner was cooked by Eric on our first day and was delicious, as was the breakfast served by Agnes. Try Eric's special spiced scrambled eggs. All items were seasonal and local and we loved the way it was varied each morning. The other nights we ate in the town, booked by Agnes and Eric on their recommendations. You will not see many tourists here and it is on the edge of such a great wine area. A base for Gordes, the "Lavender route", Mt Ventoux, the wines of the Vaucluse and the edges of the Luberon. Perfect for walkers, cyclists and anyone else who loves La Belle France. Ask Agnes to tell you the story of the house and garden. Merci beaucoup, Agnes et Eric from Una and David."
B&B Temps Suspendu Provence ★★★★
"Can't speak highly enough of LeTemps Suspendu. Michael and Sonia were so welcoming ( despite us turning up two hours before check in) Our room was beautiful with all the facilities needed, including a whirlpool bath. Michael and Sonia checked in with us on the morning of our arrival and sent post code. Parking was literally thirty feet from the door in a convenient car park. Hotel is situated down a little alleyway but once in is stunning. With exposed stone work and lots of original features. They also provided us with lists of local beauty spots and places of interest to visit and were happy to help us in booking restaurants as our French was almost non existent. Sonia provided excellent breakfast with home made pastries and waffles as well as fresh local products... Lovely outdoor seating areas for meals. Pool was wonderful and certainly needed due to high temperature and most of the time we were the only ones using it. Would definitely recommend and will certainly return ❤️"
Hôtel la Maison de Crillon
"We stayed for the first time in this hotel and it was fabulous We had room 9 which had its own private balcony and terrace . The manager and staff could not do enough for us they went above and beyond. The pool area was lovely and there is an honesty bar where you can get a drink and an ice cream Breakfast was a buffet and eggs can be cooked to order. A light lunch is available and staff will help you book local restaurants There is a private parking area We will be visiting again"
Demeures et Châteaux Hôtel l'Hermitage ★★★
"Great place to stay to visit Avignon, Orange or for hiking in the area. Nice people and excellent dinner."
Hotel Crillon le Brave ★★★★★
"If you're looking for the ideal stay that will fulfill all your Provencal dreams then this is your place. We had a wonderful stay at Crillon Le Brave in May and only wish our stay was longer. The hotel that's a village makes this a unique stay and leads to the overall charm. You are met with the most beautiful exterior as you walk into reception and the cobblestone walkways let you wander from pool to your room, to the spa, to the restaurant all while taking in the breathtaking views of Mt Ventoux, vineyards and surrounding olive groves. We had a beautiful room, a great dinner, and I enjoyed a relaxing spa day where I had a fantastic massage. But the best part of the hotel are the people who work there and specifically Charlotte. She went so above and beyond it truly touched our hearts."
Château des Cinq Cantons ★★★★
"We enjoyed our few days at this nice location that became our home away from home. In the BandB rooms a daily cleaning turnover would be appropriate and appreciated as also a location to enjoy a pre-dinner aperitif glass of wine. The excellent lap-pool is a relief on the many hot days..also the airconditioner worked perfectly well! We felt welcomed by the enthousiastic host. Will be back"
Bastide Sainte Agnès ★★★
"My wife and I stayed for three nights during early October. Stephane and Isabelle were super hosts, always so helpful and giving great recommendations. Our room was spacious and had a lovely bathroom. The breakfast was delightful and set us up for the the rest of the day. It was good to have secure parking and to be enclosed in such beautiful surroundings - they obviously spend a lot of time tending the garden."

Mas des Herbes Blanches Hôtel & Spa – Relais & Châteaux
"Super satisfied"
La Maison de l'Olivier
"PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING THIS PROPERTY I stayed at this property for two nights and, unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. First, I was given a room of a lower category than the one I had booked. To make matters worse, the room had a strong unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom, which made it uncomfortable to stay there. To my surprise, the room had a waterbed — something I was never informed about when booking. Sleeping on it caused severe back pain, and I eventually had to get up in the middle of the night and sleep on the floor, as it was impossible to rest properly. The view from the window was also completely different from what I booked: instead of the promised view, I had a wall right outside the window. Another important thing to note: this is not actually a hotel. It is more like an Airbnb-style family-run guesthouse, where a family owns two houses and rents out rooms. The level of service is not what you would expect from a hotel, which was very disappointing. While the family running the place is polite and friendly, any issues related to payments or disputes are handled very poorly. After we decided to leave earlier due to these problems, they refused to refund us for the three unused nights — almost €1,000 — and ignored all our follow-up emails and their responds on our calls were very rude. Later, I discovered that they resold my room for those nights, effectively charging two different guests for the same booking, which feels deeply unfair. There is also no formal reception and breakfast, and the property is located behind high gates on a very narrow street, making access inconvenient. I genuinely don’t understand how this place has so many positive reviews. While the owners are polite, the service, transparency, and fairness are far below hotel standards. Recommendation: If you decide to stay here, do not book for more than one night upfront. First, check the room, the bed type, the view, and the facilities before committing to a longer stay. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend this property."
Auberge de Cassagne & Spa
"This hotel in Avignon offers a great location, with a short 10-minute drive to the city center. The availability of free parking is a convenient perk. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay. Although the rooms are located on the second floor, the hotel staff is helpful and assists with luggage. The highlight is the amazing breakfast served in the garden, where guests can enjoy fresh orange juice from an automatic machine. The hotel also features a spa with a pool, whirlpool, steam room, and sauna that are open until late, allowing guests to relax and unwind."
Coquillade Provence
"Incredible hotel ! personnel absolument charmant all is perfect We are in a bubble of well-being and well-being I absolutely recommend"
Terre de Provence Hôtel & Spa
"It's a nice spa hotel. I did not experience the spa, because I only traveled for one night. The room are OK, it has the motel vibe on a highway. But the outdoor area of the hotel has a provençale vibe which is really nice. You can relax outside with a drink and have a Provence surrounding. Also the main building where the reception and the restaurant is is nice and quite authentic looking. Staff were really kind, just seemed to me a bit stressed. The food in the restaurant was excellent."
Moulin de la Roque
"Incredible nice hotel with a fantastic team. Wonderful site, beautiful estate and an impressing restaurant. Perfectly located near Avignon and with quick access to Provence countryside. Food was outstanding, as well as service. We will definitely come back!"
GRAND HOTEL D'ORANGE, BW SIGNATURE COLLECTION BY BEST WESTERN
"Helpful and polite front desk staff. Housekeeping manager was so helpful during my stay. Only 2 mins walk, there are few restaurants around as well as few groceries store. Every Thursday morning there is a fantastic French gathering market."
Mas de Capelou
"Wonderful attentive service in this lovely countryside location just outside Avignon. Very clean and well equipped self catering apartments. Great on-site restaurant with a lovely atmosphere and excellent choice of food, wines and cocktails."
L'Isle de Leos Hotel & Spa - MGallery Collection
"The service was NOT up to 5-star standards!!! Very, very disappointing. Five waiters and waitresses for 12 people, completely lost and untrained in service!!! And very expensive!! I do not recommend it...."
First Inn Hotel
"Simple hotel with the essentials, at the entrance to the town, a positive experience. Excellent breakfast."
Le Nesk Ventoux - Hotel
"Great hotel for cyclists with lots of cycling memorabilia in a charming town. Well -appointed rooms, and a wonderful sun terrace with a view of Mont Ventoux. Really friendly and helpful staff who looked after us really well."
Clos Saint-Michel Resort & Spa
"We had a wonderful stay in Malaucène! The surroundings are absolutely stunning, with beautiful nature all around. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the start. Our room was very comfortable, spotless, and well-equipped. We also really appreciated the wellness area — it was clean, relaxing, and a perfect way to unwind. The place also offers great activities for children, which made the stay enjoyable for the whole family. Highly recommended!"
Kyriad Avignon - Palais des Papes
"Even though it is very close to the Papal Palace, it is in the old town. The location is very convenient. There are many restaurants nearby, and this town is very distinctive. Breakfast is also provided here, which is convenient for going out. The architecture is also very distinctive"
Hôtel Mercure Avignon Centre Palais des Papes
"Great location, right next to the Pope's residence and close to shopping. However, the hotel is a bit old, and the service is average. The room was a bit small, and cleanliness wasn't great. Also, cars can't drive directly to the hotel, making luggage handling difficult."
ApartHotel Sainte-Marthe
"The property has a very bad check in system. If you arrive outside reception hours, you need to make sure to check your emails because they will spam you with pages of instructions on how to do your check in and apply strict requirements. I tried to call them but it was after their office hours, I emailed them but they only replied the next day. They didn't provide the service, I couldn't check in so I slept in my car and they refused to refund my payment. Don't book this property!"
ibis Styles Avignon Sud
"Bit off city centre, large parking, breakfast okayish, adequate airconditioning."
