"Buyer beware! Here now with family and the hotel is not up to par at all. I will start this by saying we stayed here 2 years ago and had zero issues hence why we returned. This trip has been a disaster. Our group has 7 rooms amongst us and 4 of the rooms had numerous issues from bugs in the room (think infestation to air conditioners not working). This hotel has no maintenance folks to fix these issues and when asked they simply reply they can’t get anyone on the weekends-totally unacceptable! We paid money for sea view rooms and most of us are looking at shrubs with zero view. At this moment I could not recommend this hotel which is sad as I had said before 2 years ago we had zero issues but this time around it’s bad! We actually cannot wait to leave and head to the next island…what a waste of money!!!"

"5 Stars all the way. Beautiful and stunning views. We were lucky to get the deluxe room away from the main house with its own jacuzzi and overlooking the open fields and a clear view of Pico island. Great breakfast and friendly staff. Loved it."

"Nicely located well equipped guest house. Our room was comfortable , spacious and with a view of the sea and on clear days, Pico. The common spaces were large and inviting. The kitchen had everything you might need, and fresh fruit and eggs for breakfast if desired, the hist, Diana, was helpful and available, she even did a load of laundry for us for €10. The stunning Ecological trail was nearby as were good restaurants and a mini mart, all within walking distance"

"The view of the Pic is something that will remain in your mind forever. The kitchen and the shared room where you have everything you need to cook, drink a glass of wine or simply listen to music. You have access to a cycling/maritime walk that connects Urzelina where you can walk or on the bikes that space provides. This space is a reason enough to return to S. Jorge. Please do not disclose that S. Jorge is quiet and without tourist pressure."
