"I booked this hotel because they have good reviews here in Tripadvisor. I also did a bit more research by checking for reviews in YouTube, but I found no significamt vlogs about this hotel. Our room was located at the ground floor. We were surprised to find out that there was no fridge, and no coffee cups and electric kettle (which are hotel basics) inside the room. We wondered why the bathroom was dimly-lighted, only to find out that the light behind the vanity mirror was not working. I called the attention of the hotel staff to report it and he said: "sira na po talaga ang ilaw nyan"... its really disappointing that they are aware of it and seems like they have no plans to have it fixed. The AC was also at the lowest temp setting but the room was just slightly cold. We were too tired from our llocos tours during the day and was expecting a comfortable sleep at night, but we just have to sleep without the blankets as we will definitely sweat if we use them. Breakfast: thank God we didn't pay for an expensive room at this hotel, because the plated breakfast (weekday) and the buffet breakfast (weekend) is just good enough to have something in your tummy. We were not expecting a grand selection since we paid for the cheaper room, but imagine paying for their suite rooms and have a breakfast buffet of low quality corned beef, hard-boiled egg, overcooked mixed vegetables, etc. The only good thing about this hotel is that majority of their staff are very polite and friendly. Also, the location is perfect for tourists as this is centrally located and very convenient if you wish to tour around by walking. l hope that your manager will ensure that every room will have cold ACs, working lights especially in the bathroom, fridge and electric kettle with cups and saucers, and better breakfast quality. We dont expect bacon or croissants, hopefully just better version of what you typically serve. I really wanted to give two stars for this review, but I will give an additional star for the polite and friendly staff."

"This room smells like wood in a really old building. It's friendly, clean, and conveniently located in a downtown alley. If you prefer something sophisticated, you might not like it. However, considering the historical perspective of Vegan City, it could be a very good experience. However, the parking is far away, and the restaurant is poor. I recommend eating out."

House has been slightly refurbished and modernized (new bathroom, aircon), but the treasures it features are still intact. After travelling across Asia for over 30 years, I can say Villa Angela is a unique place in a unique city, that in my heart equals Luang Prabang. Thank you for the lovely pair of care takers who made our stay so comfortable."

"Reservation thru Agoda Travel for 3 Deluxe rooms early March 2026. Put us in attic rooms (windows bed frame level we have to kneel to pull shades down). Request for change but told hotel full only to find out the following morning they lied. Breakfast served by plate individually (buffet if hotel full). Will definitely NOT recommend"

"Located along Liberation Blvd which is a main thoroughfare in Vigan City and withon a walkable distance from Calle Crisologo. A budget friendly choice for tourists with an old world feel with its classic wooden furnitures. Price per night is budget friendly and comes with a free breakfast. The night before they rang us and asked for our preferred breakfast choices available. Staff were all nice and they are very responsive to queries even online. They have a parking for maybe 10-12 cars and also a swimming pool which looks clean. Room is simple and okay for few nights stay. the only thumbs down is the not so clean pail in the comfort room."

"We couldn’t have asked for a better stay in Vigan. The Lodge is in an amazing location, right near Calle Crisologo and Plaza Burgos, which made our sightseeing so easy and convenient. The food here was absolutely amazing. Every dish we had, from the crispy empanadas to the flavorful bagnet, was a true taste of Ilocos. The staff was so kind and accommodating, making our stay comfortable and hassle-free. Will be back!"

"Very well located in the heart of Vigan. So-called charming hotel with a Hispanic interior: superb staircase and large room on the first floor. But: Rather cold welcome, rare in the Philippines. Dated room - particularly the bathroom - could do with a serious renovation. Breakfast served in a dining room serving as a bar in the evening which is not very welcoming and only offers two possibilities. In short, a very disappointing hotel."

"I review to express my disappointment and frustration with my recent stay in this hotel. I booked a Family Room for 3 adults and 2 children, paying ₱6,500 plus an additional ₱750 for the extra child. Upon check-in, we found the room (Loft Type with 2 double beds and 1 king bed) to be inadequately cleaned, with evidence of previous occupancy (e.g., a rubber band in the shower). Despite leaving the air conditioning on for 3 hours, the room remained uncomfortably warm. When reported to the front desk staff, the issue was not adequately addressed. Our stay was further marred by: 1. *Dust-related health issues*: My husband experienced coughing and sneezing due to dusty beds, while I and our children suffered rashes and bites. 2. *Subpar breakfast*: Cold, unappetizing food and inedible rice. 3. Poor customer service. Considering the premium price, I expect better cleanliness, amenities and service. Our experience was unacceptable and not worth the expense. I strongly advise against recommending Regency Vigan Hotel. M"
