I've never experienced anything like it, and it gives the impression that they're trying to squeeze every last penny out of their guests. Cleanliness and breakfast were excellent. We specifically booked the family room, but even in that room, you can barely move around."

"Arrived without a booking and was able to get a family room. First room they gave us was not made up. Second room they gave us was dirty gooey stuff on wardrobe, splashes up the walls and around the light switch .No coffee or tea. Housekeeping came and said, they had lots of parties. He said he would report it. Cleaned the marks stocked the coffee and left. For the price of the hotel, this is not what we expected. Our friends room was also a family room and not made up . He had to go down to reception 2 imes over various issues. I can't recommend this hotel and I would suggest you cook elsewhere. I gave it 3 stars because the view was ok and there's free parking. We also got a little welcome gift of cards and some dice which was a nice touch."

"We booked a room for five people for one night at the hotel. It was a reunion with friends after four years. The welcome at reception during check-in was appalling. The receptionist was very dismissive, rude, and impolite. She seemed incredibly annoyed. We found her behavior unbelievable. What was such a person doing in a job where customer contact is the norm? None of us had ever experienced anything like it. We also noticed this receptionist's rudeness in her interactions with other arriving guests. Unbelievable… The hotel itself was great. The room rates are high. The breakfast was plentiful and good. There's something for everyone. The location, right next to the train station and the main road, is perfect for all kinds of activities. The staff at breakfast were very friendly. Nicole deserves special mention. A different receptionist was at check-out than the one who checked in the day before. She was reasonably friendly. However, the only thing she said after I handed over my room key was, "Everything's taken care of, goodbye." No inquiry about how we enjoyed our stay, let alone any other kind words. The service at the reception of this hotel leaves much to be desired."

"For a room over €200 per night and rated 4 star, we expected the bathroom to have at least more than just a 3in1 shower gel. Wi-Fi did not work too until issue was brought up to reception, which only an additional set up instruction was given. Pillow was typical cheap with no support kinda German pillow. Unfortunately, we were allocated a room with adjoining balcony whereby cigarette smoke entered the room. Breakfast was good but staff were clearly not well trained. We like the complimentary waffles provided during our stay, but only when we step into restaurant and the staff asked if we’d like some. During check in, this info was communicated to the guest before us but not too us. Very inconsistent."

"Location is ideal, 1/2 a minute from the bike park MTB Zone Willingen. Plenty of parking space and excellent bike facilities: a locked garage with roomy cabinets for your gear, a pump, and a bike workstation with tools. Rooms are modern, very clean and spacious, with large showers. Beds are firm and comfortable. Breakfast is outstanding with great variety and clearly prepared with care. Staff are friendly and helpful; a pillow issue was fixed immediately when I asked. Noise levels were low, we slept well after long biking days. Good value for money and I would definitely return for another biking weekend."
