Travelodge Hotel - Worksop
"Absolutely fantastic stay at Travelodge! From the moment we arrived, the staff were amazing — so friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. They really made us feel valued and comfortable throughout our stay. The room was spotless, fresh, and very well maintained. Everything was clean, tidy, and perfect for a relaxing stay. The bed was comfortable, the atmosphere was quiet, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. Couldn’t fault a thing and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great service, comfort, and excellent value for money!"
Premier Inn Worksop
"Very good overnight stay. Room very clean, comfortable and quiet. Friendly, helpful reception staff - Chell and Caitlin. Opted for the meal deal - breakfast and dinner. Well worth it. The restaurant is a Beefeater - all three of us had steak mains which had a small supplement. Very impressed with the quality of the meat. Only one small letdown - decaf coffee from the bar was dire. Breakfast was good, a very varied selection of hot and cold items."

Muthu Clumber Park Hotel and Spa
"Room 18. After living in the area for most of our lives, we have always passed the hotel and thought how nice it always looked, so when we needed a hotel after moving out of the area this is the one that sprang to mind and would be a good location for us. Upon entering the hotel, the receptionist advised we had been upgraded to an executive room which was a pleasant surprise and had recently been refurbished.. The room we had on the ground floor was lovely, nice walk in shower and all seemed to be great. We unpacked, then left ready to return back later for a bite to eat and get settled in our room. Food was okay in the Normanton restaurant, we have certainly had worse. We then went to our room, upon entering we firstly noticed the handle on the bathroom door was loose, only half a toilet roll and no more in the bathroom. The best was yet to come, I thought we should check the bed , only to find, stains on the pillow cases- no pillow protectors either. Hairs and dirt in the middle of the bed with what looked like a ***** hair at the bottom of the bed, also bits all over like someone had been in bed with socks on. Also the linen was creased as though someone had slept in the bed. The was also no mattress protector. W also found a door card in the middle of the bed, probably left by the previous guests, this would suggest it was never checked. We were certainly not going to be sleeping in this bed. Went to reception where a young lady came to the room to see for herself. She went off to see if there was another room we could move to. I did ask if someone could just change the bedding, to which we were advised there was no one available in housekeeping to do this. We were offered 2 rooms, we picked the room which was equivalent to the one we had but it did not have a walk in shower. This bed was certainly cleaner, so we settled in this one room 47. We did notice around the bath, whoever had used sealant had made an horrendous job, it was so thick and areas had been missed 🙄 Looking round the hotel, it looks very tired , dado rails were chipped, skirting was marked, carpets were stained all through the hotel , reception area is lovely but behind the scenes it certainly needs some work. In some areas down the corridors it had a fusty smell. We were sorted with our query not to our full satisfaction but things like this should not happen in what would appear on the outside a lovely hotel. We did speak to someone the following day, a gentleman we didn't get his name, he was talking to employees from the housekeeping team trying to understand why the bed was not changed, to be told it may have been a mistake and classed as a stay room, which I assume meant the bed did not need to be changed as people were already staying in the room. Mistakes like this should not happen, sorry to say we would not be staying again Should have taken photos but unfortunately I did not on this occasion."
The Station Hotel
"Reading the reviews, i was dreading staying in this hotel. The room is very modern and has a smart tv with access to netflix. there is a guest information book. The pictures on trip advisor do not do it justice. The bar staff are very friendly and very helpful.. The location is good as , it’s directly across from the train station."
