"Lovely clean room with comfortable king bed. We arrived at 7pm and not a staff member in sight… the whole time we were there! We checked in through an intercom. But apart from that, our stay was enjoyable and very reasonably priced. Would definitely stay again."

"I am very regretful to post such a negative feedback on a highly potential accomodation. The carpet smelt terrible and not cleaned, especially under the beds and the tv cabinet, full of jello cups, a babies dummy, dead insects, dust, French fries and toblerone chocolate. Beetles and ants crawled into the room as we slept! The doors are not sealed properly. We went on a sixteen day road trip to Brisbane and stayed in 12 different hotels/motels. This one by far was the worst for a four star rated hotel/ motel. It’s not that hard to clean the carpets thoroughly when the beds are movable. The shower floor and toilet bowl were also stained and smelly."

The Nest at Gundaroo

"We stayed for the week-end in "The Cockatoo" cottage, which had been clearly deigned for wheelchair/disabled access. The bathroom was enormous with grabrails and floor-level access to the shower. There were many kitchen utensils, if you wanted to self-cater - the supermarket/takeway was right next door. There is also a fireplace (enclosed), with wood supplied. With good coffee capsules and light breakfast also supplied. Right next to everything in Gundaroo - which is not very large. Excellent short stay."
