The transportation is super convenient; the hotel is right next to the river cable car, a five-minute walk to Central Avenue, and it's only about a twenty-minute walk to Saint Sophia Cathedral. "This was my first time in Qiqihar, and I ended up staying at the Wanda Realm Hotel for a total of four days. The hotel's facilities are excellent, and the service was warm and attentive. For instance, whenever I encountered issues like a slow drain, a window that wouldn't close, or needing a toilet seat cover, they promptly arranged for staff to resolve them. I booked the hotel through Ctrip, and there was a seasonal package deal that was very good value. The hotel butler also provided a complimentary upgrade and free breakfast, which was a lovely touch. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the Chinese restaurant offered great value and exquisite dishes. The hotel is right next to Wanda Plaza, making shopping very convenient. Taking a taxi is the easiest and quickest way to get to local attractions. Especially when I went to Zhalong Nature Reserve, I asked the butler if I could return to my original room, and my request was granted. I hope the hotel continues to strive for excellence and becomes a top-tier domestic brand in Qiqihar."

Downsides: First, the breakfast dining area is severely short of seats. Many guests came for breakfast but couldn't find a table and had to wait. Second, during my 8-night stay, the coffee machine was broken for 5-6 days, yet no alternative instant coffee was provided. A cup of coffee for breakfast is really important for foreign guests."

After she simply stated my room type wasn't available, I didn't feel like pursuing the conversation further. *Sigh*. ▶ There are self-service drinks in the lobby on the first floor, but the staff didn't inform me. I only found out about them after seeing it online. ▶ Upon check-out, there's supposed to be a farewell gift, but the staff didn't mention it. Long after I had left, I received a message on the Ctrip app saying there was one, meaning I would have had to inquire at the front desk myself. *Ahem*. ▶ I didn't book the hotel's buffet breakfast, but the restaurant allows you to order items à la carte. My companion and I spent 20 yuan and were completely full. (The fried rice was delicious!) ● Overall, in terms of value for money, it's really good! It just falls short on the details.
