The Aswan Plaza Hotel Corniche is a great choice for guests looking for accommodation in Aswan, having been recently renovated in 2025. Traveling to the hotel is easy with Aswan located approximately 700m away and Aswan International Airport roughly 16km away. Keeping busy is easy, with Aswan Sporting Club, Public Garden and Kitchener Island Garden plants all nearby. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. According to our guests, this hotel provides a very high level of service. This hotel is a popular accommodation for groups of friends traveling together.

"The location is easy to find, and the hotel's overall environment is good, though a bit old. However, it offers a beautiful view of the Nile River directly opposite, and getting around is convenient with a McDonald's just across the street. Highly recommended!"

"This is a great place. The island where the hotel is located is the best spot in all of Aswan. The people here are nothing like the Egyptians who constantly bother you. Here, you can relax more. There are many good places to eat nearby. The room is comfortable, clean, and has Nile views. You have a shared 'kitchenette' with another room in the hallway just outside your door on the same floor. The rooftop terrace is great for sitting and having a drink (which you bring up yourself) and enjoying the Nile views both day and night. The staff are very friendly and even give you a farewell gift – a bracelet with a scarab for everyone in the room. Plus, you get a welcome drink both when you arrive and when you leave. The bathroom has a shower gel dispenser and a shampoo dispenser. They also provide tea and coffee as amenities, and there's a kettle and a fridge to store your things."

Renovated in 2024, the Obelisk Nile Hotel offers both holiday makers and business travelers a pleasant stay in Aswan. Traveling to the hotel is easy with Aswan located approximately 1km away and Aswan International Airport roughly 16km away. There's plenty to do nearby, with Hajj Hassan Mosque, Culture Palace - El Akkad and Saint Teresa Catholic Church all within a short distance. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. If you are looking for a convenient place to stay, our guests have told us that this location is excellent. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with friends.

"This hotel is truly unique. You enter by crossing a small bridge into a charming garden. The rooms are in small riverside buildings, offering an unbeatable environment. The restaurant is right by the river, so you can enjoy breakfast while admiring the Nile in the morning light – it's incredibly pleasant. We booked a river view room on the second floor, accessible by a private stone staircase. From the open window or balcony, you can directly see the Nile. The room's interior decoration is on par with a domestic four-star hotel – not just clean, but also aesthetically pleasing. The bathroom is large and excellent. The water quality is good (the filter shower head I brought didn't show much yellowing after two days). There's a kettle, a hairdryer, and disposable slippers. They provide two bottles of water daily. The hotel offers laundry service. It's an additional charge but not expensive, with a 24-hour turnaround. They'll iron your clothes and return them to you. The price is very reasonable; we had a large pile of clothes, pants, and socks washed for only 350 EGP. However, **beware of the ATM in the hotel garden**; it swallowed my money when I tried to withdraw cash. There are many other ATM options, including one next to the bubble tea shop across the road."

The Basma Hotel Aswan is one of the newest hotels in Aswan, having been renovated in 2023. Traveling to the hotel is easy with Aswan located approximately 3km away and Aswan International Airport roughly 14km away. Keeping busy is easy, with Isis Temple, Quba Mosque and Misr Public Library - Aswan all nearby. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. This hotel is a popular accommodation for groups of friends traveling together.

"Out of the five hotels I stayed at in Egypt, this one wasn't cheap, but the experience was just okay. The photos made it look great, but the hotel itself isn't that big. It's located on a hill next to the Old Cataract, so walking back means a steep climb. I even had an unreliable driver try to charge extra just because of the hill – unbelievable! 😓 The front desk staff's attitude was so-so, and they gave me a ground-floor room. I seriously suspect the housekeeping staff tampered with my foundation bottle. The cap was open, and a few drops had spilled out. The more I thought about it later, the more I realized it definitely wasn't my doing. If you're staying here, I'd recommend keeping your personal items locked in your luggage! The buffet restaurant's food was mediocre, but the coffee was decent."

"I had an excellent stay at Malindy Ka Nubian House in Aswan. The hospitality of Mr Mohamed was truly outstanding, and the entire team was very friendly, helpful, and always prompt in responding to any questions or requests. Mr. Mohamed guided us very well during our stay and helped with everything we needed in Aswan, including local travel tips and arrangements. The Abu Simbel tour arrangements were very good and budget-friendly, which made the experience smooth and comfortable. The location itself is peaceful and quiet, giving a beautiful experience of Nubian culture and lifestyle. The artistic paintings and decorations both inside and outside the property were beautiful and added a unique cultural touch to the stay. The room was very neat, clean, and comfortable. Even a late-night dinner was quickly arranged for us, which we truly appreciated. If guests have any specific food preferences, it is better to inform them earlier so they can check the availability and prepare accordingly. Opened in 2023, the Gloria Aqua Park is a great accommodation choice in New Aswan. The hotel is located approximately 21km from Aswan and 24km from Aswan International Airport. With multiple attractions nearby including Aswan Marina Aqua Park, Remains of old Church and Church of Abi Sefien, guests will find plenty to keep themselves occupied. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site.

"The hotel is located in a rather remote area, making it a good stopover for those driving. The breakfast was poor, with nothing particularly appealing. The water park was closed, and the surrounding environment was unpleasant. I wouldn't recommend it for families with children."

The Cleopatra Hotel is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The Cleopatra Hotel offers a pleasant stay in Aswan for those traveling for business or leisure. With multiple attractions nearby including TRAVEL WITH OSMANAA, Saint Mary Church in Aswan and JJ Jamaica Felucca, guests will find plenty to keep themselves occupied. "It is an old hotel, but the staff are friendly, and best of all, it is located in the heart of the city, making it easy to get around. The beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are clean. They even provide packed lunches when you go to Abu Simbel. By Korean standards, it is about the level of a motel, but for Aswan, this is very good."

The Kato Dool Wellness Resort is a great choice for guests looking for accommodation in Aswan, having been recently renovated in 2024. With Aswan International Airport just 12km away and Aswan only 19km away, transportation is very convenient. This hotel is located near many of Aswan's attractions including Zahra Hawes, Nubian Village Aswan and Aswan Botanical Garden. "This is a very contradictory B&B hotel that I don't know if it is worth recommending. Its shortcomings and advantages are very prominent. It is suitable for Internet celebrities to make photos (the following photos are all original photos without retouching), but it is not suitable for anyone who has certain requirements for ”accommodation” itself. If you can find any cheap + clean + similar scenery alternative hotel, it is recommended to change it, but if it is just for taking pictures and scenery, it may be ranked at the top in Nubian Village. First of all, you have to be able to tolerate: 1. The hotel price is not cost-effective in the peak season, and the B&B offers the price of a five-star hotel. 2. Poor room facilities, rough-style furniture and narrow rooms, worrying bed sheets, bathroom shower water overflowing and drainage is useless, no slippers, toothbrushes, hair dryers (phone front desk can provide). 3. The breakfast is self-service and extremely simple and unpalatable, unlike some people who commented on the set and inexplicably praised it. 4. Tolerate or pay more to continue to tolerate the complaints of the chartered driver to drive into Nubian Village, and then contact the hotel by yourself in the middle of the night to change to a three-wheeled motorcycle in the deserted and dark mountains for 15 minutes to doubt life and reach the mountaintop hotel. 5. Other prices are very unreasonable. We originally wanted to book dinner for the New Year's Eve party, but it cost 100 US dollars per person... What did we get here? 1. The balcony of the room can see the unbeatable sunrise on the west bank of the Nile. We witnessed the first light of 2025 here at 6 am. 2. The various poses in the cultural buildings of the Nubian Village are very photogenic. 3. The desert next to the hotel is very photogenic. 4. A very special cultural experience of a group of tourists jumping up and down the mountain in a row of three-wheeled vehicles. 5. The hotel service staff is relatively friendly. Finally, it is explained that Egypt is not a country where tipping is allowed. Carrying luggage is a basic service of any hotel in their country. No one asked for tips during the entire stay."

Benben is a beautiful place and the service is top notch. Why the 3 stars? Our room jacuzzi was way too hot to enter. On the first day they send someone over who added cold water so we could enjoy it. Then on the second day as we are coming back from our day trip and want to relax, we find out our jacuzzi is again way too hot. It’s not fun to wait for them to fix this issue when we want to go in right now and not in an hour or so. Also as a 5 stars hotel, the hot water kept running out in our shower after 15 minutes which is quite crazy. It shouldn’t be like this. Or else we loved everything. The food is really good, and as I said the staff/service is amazing.

We booked two garden view rooms for our family trip. Hilariously, we checked in at 2:30 PM that day, then rushed to a scenic spot and dinner. When we returned to the hotel around 8:40 PM, our room key cards weren't even ready – incredibly inefficient. To make matters worse, there was no hot water in the rooms. The temperature had dropped significantly that day, and I was traveling with a 3-year-old and my 70-year-old mother. Both rooms had no hot water. I called the front desk, and they said they'd send someone, but we waited a good twenty minutes before a staff member finally arrived. It was clear the staff member wasn't trained; they couldn't speak English and immediately used their dirty hands to touch all the bath towels in the room. Then they just said ”five minutes” and left. We waited another ten-plus minutes with the child, and still no news. I had no choice but to call the front desk again and ask for a room change. I was told the hotel was fully booked. Desperate, I contacted Ctrip, and their overseas specialist spent a long time negotiating before the hotel finally agreed to a room change. However, by then it was past 10 PM, and our child couldn't stay up any longer. We had no choice but to give the child a quick wash and put them to bed. I've never encountered such a poorly managed hotel. I have no idea how it got a 4.9 rating. Also, the hotel's advertised free airport shuttle service is only available at 4 AM and 6 PM; all other times are chargeable. I'm writing this to save others from making the same mistake! We chose this hotel because it's part of the MGM brand, and the room decor and hardware are quite good, but the service (software) is absolutely terrible. So, our conclusion is: in Egypt, don't just look at the brand name of a hotel; as long as it's locally managed, it's a complete mess. ಢ🌚ಢ

On our first night, the room was not clean. After our first complaint, housekeeping did a simple cleanup but it was still unsatisfactory. With our second complaint, a deeper cleaning was arranged, and the room was finally clean — though it was already past midnight (around 1am). The hotel staff apologized and kindly compensated us with a dinner discount, which we appreciated. Overall, we are happy with the team’s fast response and service recovery. One small feedback: the facilities’ opening hours (spa and gym) clash with typical sightseeing schedules. Since they open late and close early, we were unable to enjoy them. It would be great if the hotel could consider extending the operating hours. Credit to the room towel decoration. Surprises everyday we came back from sightseeing. Talented creativity of towel art.

Relive classic movie scenes here; the hotel's facilities and ambiance are impeccable. This is a top-tier luxury hotel that's definitely worth checking off your bucket list. My only minor complaint is the limited breakfast selection, but that's easily overlooked given the hotel's legendary restaurant. A couple of staff members had some attitude issues, but they apologized promptly after we spoke with them. Families traveling with teenagers should note that there's an extra charge for minors exceeding a certain age; it's $150 per night and includes an extra bed and breakfast.
