"This is my second stay at a Mitsui Garden Hotel, the last one being in Tokyo. The hotel chain consistently offers great service. This particular hotel is very close to Nagoya subway station, about a 5-7 minute walk. There's an underground shopping area right below where you can eat and shop, and a 7-Eleven across the street for breakfast or snacks. Within about a 5-minute walk, you'll also find popular eateries like Sekai no Yamachan, Isomaru Suisan, and Torikizoku, which is very convenient."

"Our stay at KOKO HOTEL was an amazing experience from start to finish. The hotel had a very clean, modern, and cozy atmosphere that made our trip even more enjoyable. The staff were polite, welcoming, and always helpful whenever we had questions or needed assistance. One of the things we loved most was the location. The hotel was conveniently close to train stations, convenience stores, restaurants, and shopping areas, which made exploring Japan very easy and stress free. The room was compact yet very well organized, with comfortable beds and all the essentials needed for a relaxing stay. We also appreciated how quiet and peaceful the hotel was, especially after long days of sightseeing. Everything was well maintained, and the overall experience felt smooth and comfortable throughout our trip. "The location is great. It's near to everything. There was one time, i woke up at 6am to shop at Donki since it's only a minute walk. There are so many places to eat nearby. But what i like the most is the toiletries bar."

"The place is one block away from the bus terminal and also near to different train station. You can ride the bus directly to Chubu International airport  and Nagashima without hassle. The room is clean and big compared to other hotels. They provided me new sets of towels everyday and they also provide sleepwear which is a plus cause you dont need to do the laundry for your clothes. The only downside that i can say is that the room is not sound proof. I can practically hear the opening and closing of the door of the next room.. but overall this is a very nice place to stay."

"This hotel is super convenient! It's right next to JR Nagoya's south exit – just turn left and take the elevator up. It even connects directly to Takashimaya on the 15th floor. Below the hotel entrance, escalators lead down to floors 12 and 13 which are packed with restaurants. The views are great, and while the room isn't huge, the decor is modern and new. I especially loved the large window! The breakfast was exquisite and delicious, with options like unagi (eel) rice and fried fish burgers."

"Located inside the station, very good. No chance to control My own room temperature is something that i m somewhat now satisfying. Got a window that cannot open. Good for viewing, but, cannot open the let the cold winds flow into my room. Yet, hotel air-con is centralised. It means the hotel management decided if today is cold or not. U DON get to decided. Check out photos below as proof. They send in an extra one fan for me, since I complained not cold enough. Photo shown. Other than the temperature, all is good. Many convinient store around. That I know of, Family, 7, lawson. Even McD is not far Supermarket and a small food court is also inside/atttach with toyohashi station. Big table, good. Room space.. . Not quite remembered if I leave my luggage open or not. But, judging from the photo, I must close it after done with my luggage. ( my trip have multiple hotel) Not bad for a big window for night view 2."

"Our group of three females arrived and was denied check-in because the rooms were for ”Males Only.” This restriction was not clearly stated during the selection process. On the Trip.com interface, several room options were explicitly labeled [Male Only]. However, the rooms we selected had no gender label in the title. As a consumer, it is logical to assume that if one option is marked ”Male Only” and another is not, the unlabeled option is for females or unisex. This critical information was omitted from the main room title and only found deep in the reservation details after booking. This is misleading UI design for a gender-restricted property. We were stranded at the airport without accommodation due to this lack of transparency, without refund, and told that it was solely our fault. However, despite sudden show up, Toyoko inn welcome us with cheaper price, better room and free breakfast. I highly recommended Toyoko inn. Thank you TUBE Sq for your kind support, but please response to our cancellation request due to this whole nonsense error. And, lastly, may we never see you again."

"My main goal for this trip was to get some good rest, so I specifically chose a room on the side away from the main road and booked a more expensive top-floor room. Before checking in, I even requested a corner room, hoping to have no neighbors on either side, but the hotel said they couldn't arrange it, which I totally understood. In terms of soundproofing, if you're on the top floor and not facing the road, it's genuinely very quiet overall. With the windows closed, you basically can't hear any outside traffic or even the normal activities of neighbors. The only exception is if there are kids next door running around loudly in their room, then you'll definitely hear some noticeable noise. I experienced that firsthand this time. However, for those who prioritize convenient transportation, this hotel might be something to reconsider. It's not particularly close to a subway or train station, requiring about a 15-minute walk. If you're dragging luggage, especially in summer or on a rainy day, it can be quite a struggle. In comparison, many hotels near stations in Nagoya offer excellent value for money. I chose this place purely for the peace and quiet and the quality of rest. From that perspective, it completely met my expectations. If I visit Nagoya again and my primary goal is still rest, I would likely choose this hotel again. Overall, I'm very satisfied and highly recommend it to travelers like me who value sleep quality and a quiet environment."

"The hotel is located about 10mins walk from the main Sakae tourist area, but there are a lot of bars right next to the hotel so it might not be the best if you're looking for a quiet night stay."
