There's a hot spring bath on the second floor of the hotel, and you can even enjoy an ice cream after your soak to cool down. Breakfast is served in the restaurant, also on the second floor. We stayed in the new annex, and they offered complimentary afternoon tea from 3 PM."

"The open-air bath was amazing! The changing room, shower room, and balcony open-air bath were all connected, which was great. The air purifier and the corners of the room were a little rough, but it wasn't too bad. The staff were very helpful and polite when I checked in! There were some shops open until around 10 PM, so I could go for a walk even after relaxing at the hotel! I couldn't go this time, so I'll save it for next time. (T_T) I was shocked that the room service I ordered was cold. The room didn't have a microwave, which was a problem! The food was delicious!! There was also a snack and drink set that looked delicious! Thank you so much!"

"The stay was very pleasant. I used Tsu as a hub to visit both Ise Shingu and Nachi given that there are rapid and limited express trains running from Tsu. The hotel is situated directly next to Tsu station with various restaurants situated near it. There is a shopping strip located about a 13 minute walk from Tsu station with Uniqlo and a large supermarket next to it. As for the room, the beds were comfortable and spacious. Various amenities such as toothbrush and shavers were provided. There is also a free coffee machine located next to the check in desk. I will highly recommend those who plan to visit Mie prefecture to stay here!"

During dinner, we experienced a minor incident, but we were incredibly impressed by the staff's quick response and thoughtfulness. Truly wonderful hospitality and consideration, and the reassuring feeling that staff in every position share information effectively! I am sincerely grateful. If you force me, I would be grateful if you could always park in front of each room."

If you wanted to fully enjoy the Suzuka Theme park and the rack track. It will be the best to stay here. Because you will need almost 2 full days to fully enjoy the whole thing. I stay in the duplex room with my daughter and my wife. We love it so much, the duplex room is spacious and rewewed, with a balcony as well. That can used by 6 people. The hotel had a direct access to the theme park so you can enjoy your breakfast then go straight into the park sharply! We've also ordered the breakfast and dinner package from trip.com with a nice price, they are both buffet served and food are much higher than my expectations, quality are very nice and wide range of variety you can choose, there is also a small corner for kid to grab their favourite food by themselves, they designed that buffet table lower for kids access. They also offer shashimi seafood rice don you can make your own choice, from tuna, scallop, mentaiko and salmon. We enjoyed a lot! The hotel also provide onsen you can use, there is one indoor and one outdoor onsen in the hotel spa facility, it looks very new and clean. It is not very big but also not crowd while we were there. However, the water temperature was not too hot like normal. I recommend this hotel for any family going to visit Suzuka theme park, it will be the best choice.

The room was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered breathtaking views of Toba Bay. Waking up to the peaceful ocean scenery each morning was incredibly relaxing. The onsen was equally impressive—immaculately maintained, soothing, and the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. The kaiseki dinner and breakfast were exceptional. Every dish showcased the freshness of the local seafood and seasonal ingredients, with each course thoughtfully presented. Dining here wasn’t just a meal—it was an experience. What stood out most was the attention to detail. Every staff member went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable, from the seamless check-in to the thoughtful service throughout our visit. You can genuinely feel the pride they take in providing outstanding hospitality. If you’re looking for an authentic luxury ryokan experience with amazing food, stunning views, and unforgettable service, Sun Urashima Yuki no Sato is absolutely worth the visit. We left feeling refreshed and already looking forward to returning someday.

We used this hotel as a family celebration trip. The facilities were beautiful and lovely, but what really impressed us was the warm and wonderful service from the staff. Due to the earthquake in Russia, trains were stopped and we had no means of transportation, but they extended our check-out time and were very accommodating. The food was delicious, and each dish was carefully prepared. The breakfast buffet was also very satisfying, with so many options, including Japanese and Western cuisine, that we couldn't finish it all. We signed up for morning yoga, and started the morning off right in the open space surrounded by greenery on the property, listening to the birds chirping and feeling the breeze, which was a wonderful way to start the day. Next time we visit, we'd like to enjoy a cruise or something similar.

It's a clean and nice hotel. However, the bathrobe-style loungewear is easy to come undone, and the knot hurts when you lie down, which is annoying. It's quite stressful for someone who has come from far away and is tired and finally arrives at the hotel. I look forward to the future. The staff's service is polite and elegant, and the location is very close to the station, so I would like to use it again in the future. Personally, I don't think it's necessary to serve customers with masks. I remember that the WHO also announced that masks are not effective for either coronavirus or influenza. Japan is the only country that is lagging behind in wearing masks, and it has become part of the etiquette at work, but it's scary to serve customers without seeing their faces.

During my recent stay at Hotel R9 at Yard Tsu, I had a mixed experience, resulting in an overall rating of 3 out of 5. While the hotel was generally acceptable, there were some notable drawbacks. One major issue I encountered was the cleanliness of the rooms. I was disappointed to find a significant number of insects on the walls, which was quite unpleasant and off-putting. As a result, I had to deduct points and give it a rating of 3 out of 5 for cleanliness. Additionally, compared to my previous stay at another Hotel R9 location, the price at Yard Tsu was slightly higher. However, it was still within an acceptable range considering the overall quality of the hotel. Despite the drawbacks, I must mention that the hotel's staff were courteous and attentive, providing decent service throughout my stay. In conclusion, while Hotel R9 at Yard Tsu has some room for improvement in terms of cleanliness, its reasonable price and satisfactory service make it an acceptable choice for a short stay. However, I would recommend management to address the cleanliness issue to ensure a more pleasant experience for guests.

We were quite happy with the hotel, which was fairly new and service staff were very helpful. While preparing my toast, a staff came back again to offer a tray. The common area was fairly adequate with a lot of seating, access to a microwave, small stove and fridge. As an added bonus, there is aluminium foil and plastic wrap available. Room size was decent, and the design of the layout was good. The hotel seems to be in the middle of nowhere, and it was noticed staff were extra careful to explain with the restaurants nearby.

The hotel is easily reachable by car, but if you are using the train, it’s 30/40min by walk or you should jump on a bus. Nearby there are konbinis and a supermarket, which is super useful if you want to eat at the hotel and take advantage of the microwave (there are not a lot of restaurants nearby). The hotel is clean and comfortable—if you want, you can also book a private bath room for free, which is great. On top of the usual amenities, you can also find different options for shampoo and conditioner (ex. one for damaged hair, etc..)
