This my second time booking this hotel. The first time was really bad. This time it was ok.
The floor is not sticky anymore but the bathroom smells like urine even the first time i entered. But it has improved; maybe because i booked a better type of room.
The breakfast is what is so sad. Taste is not good. I hope they improve the taste and the time. I hope breakfast is open earlier and closes late to accommodate earlier flights.

I stayed at Astoria Tower 2. Location wise itâs good since itâs just a 10min walk to SM Mindpro and Canelar Barter Trade. Amenities needs improvement especially the facilities - room is not that clean especially the CR with visible black molds on the ceiling and vent which is very dangerous to our health. Breakfast is typical. Rice, eggs and 2 other variants. TV is cable, no free water, AC is noisy and wifi is slow. Aside from location, I like that they allow to leave your baggage once you checked out so you can still explore before your flight. Overall itâs good maybe for overnight or short stay but not for long.
We had a comfortable and relaxing stay at Gwandalan House. We appreciate the prompt arrival of their airport service which allowed us to arrive at the hotel with no hassle at all. The room was very comfortable with nice pillows, warm water and efficient aircon. The breakfast was also good. The plaza and boulevard is also walking distance from the hotel but if you're tired it is also very easy to hail a trike which costs 15-20php per person. Will book this hotel again the next time we visit Dipolog.
I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The service was excellentâstaff were friendly, attentive, and quick to help with any request. The amenities were impressive, including a well-maintained gym, clean pool, and a great breakfast selection.
The only downside was the parking situation. Parking is on a first-come, first-serve basis, which can be inconvenient, especially during peak hours. It would be great if the hotel could consider expanding the parking area or offering reserved spots.
Overall, a great experience with everything youâd expect from a quality hotelâjust plan ahead for parking.
Comfortable and basic hotel near airport. Their tablea cafe serves good coffee and hot chocolate.
Staff lead of restaurant for breakfast needs to learn to communicate more. I was served sardines when my order was chorizo. And instead of apologizing for the mistake, she made an excuse saying that she heard me say âSpanishâ and assumed I ordered sardines. This behavior is unacceptable as (1) she should have apologized for the mistake and (2) she should have informed me first that chorizo wasnât available and if I preferred a different option instead of her actions mentioned above. Hope her supervisor can take corrective action on this.
The hotel rooms are small, the health is ok, the location is convenient, the service staff are very enthusiastic, and the room massage service can alleviate the fatigue of the day, good.
